High today of 41° winds outta the NW at 10-15 with gusts to 25!!! I ain't washing the car outside today!

I've never used D114 before and this would be a perfect time to pop the cork on the bottle. Car was washed and WDGPS was applied last weekend so car isn't too dirty. I've got tons of the blue edgeless towels and I'll use as many as needed. Any tips would greatly be appreciated!

Forgot to add, gonna apply Fuzion, Natty's Red or another coat od WDGPS afterwards, haven't decided yet.

It's super easy. No streaks. I use one ounce per two gallons unless it's super dirty. Cleans well. I think you'll like it, as many of us here do!!

Presoak each panel. Work in small areas at a time. Resist urge to use pressure and multiple passes with a dirty side. Flip towel often to clean side and inspect for debris that might scratch the paint often.

It's been 6hrs. so I'll assume you've already washed it. How'd it go?

So how exactly did you mix your solution? Hose water guesstimate and add D114? Or did you go full on OCD with it and buy gallons of distilled water and precisely measure the D114? [I go full on OCD with everything I dilute lol]
What dilution ratio did you use? And how many towels did you go through?

Went with Natty's Red, I see...
Looks good! :xyxthumbs:

i know ONR doesn't need distilled water because the product softens the water anyway.

does 114 soften the water too? i finally got a gallon of it to try, but, i intend on NOT using distilled just like ONR. granted, my garage water outlets are softened anyway, but they certainly still have trace solids!

1oz D114 to 2gal hose water in 5 gal bucket. My city water is actually pretty good. Garry Dean method used 8 blue edgeless towels.

D114 does not require distilled water. I'm just OCD. I even dilute my Super Degreaser with distilled water. Lol.

D114 suds up too much for a rinseless wash. Makes it difficult to wipe off, IME.

I'll use a D114 to wipe off during a correction to give some lubrication of the paint to avoid light towel marks. Works well. I did a waterless wash for the first time on the entire car to wash it the other day and came out well. But it was garaged and really clean. Still prefer traditionally wash methods though

I am not as OCD as everyone else. I just fill 2 gallons of tap water in a bucket with one ounce of solution and then fill up a rinse bucket with tap water. I mix D114 in a garden sprayer for pre soak. I spray down two panels of the car on one side. I dip the new Rinseless Wash Mitt in the solution and start washing. I flip after the first panel and wash the second panel with the clean side. Then I place the wash mitt back in the rinse bucket to clean, dry the two panels with a waffle weave, then continue with the same process on the next two panels
