I will be comparing ONR+C
Is that going to be the acronym? ONR+C? I thought it was going to be ONRWW.

I prefer and have been using ONR+C. To me it makes more sense and is easier to read. But time and popular opinion will decide...
Setec, it's more than ONR+OCW. Not to say we didn't try that first...but we really spent time tweaking the product and added some different polymers to create an all new product. The initial wash was not even going to raise the price, we were going to keep it the same price as ONR. But when we finally had the product performing the way we wanted it was all new.
I think we should use NRWW because that's the part number and easy for me to recognize.
Pre Coating you will not want to use this, but you can use ONR at wash strength to remove polishing oils and go straight to coating. This is ok for our coatings because the residue is easily removed with a water dampened MF...so ONR would just provide a little extra lubrication. ONR polymers can be painted over so there should be no issues. I use this method from time to time and have a problem.

OK so now I'm really confused. (like that's a surprise to anyone that knows me)Man..... I hate this being as I just got (like today) 2 bottles of ONR. Wouldn't it have been cool to get one of each!?!?
So adding a shot of OCW, or whatever else to get a bit of extra carnuba 'glide' wouldn't help?
The last line of your statement....."I use this method from time to time and have a problem" perhaps a typo? Is it streaking or clouding etc.?
I wasn't suggesting that you simply poured OCW into ONR (although it sounds like you did), but that you used the technology of OCW (and apparently a bit more). To me to call it ONR + carnauba sells OPT short, because it's more than ONR with some flakes mixed in.
I'm already sold on ONRWW as the acronym![]()
Adding an once of OCW to ONR will make a noticeable difference as some detailers already know. I was just distinguishing that NRWW was more than just mixing the two.
Oddly enough after the discussion in this thread that ONRWW is more than just simply ONR with OCW mixed in, ONRWW has appeared in the OPT site/store (not the Optimum Forum store) with this description:
Optimum No Rinse™ Wash & Wax provides all the benefits of No Rinse™ Wash & Shine plus additional protection and shine of Optimum Car Wax in one easy step.
It bothers me that the last version came out not too long ago. Almost like they could have waited to just release this product and save some people money.
The DG Rinseless with AW is an amazing product, so I don't really see myself changing from that, just my .02
Once I'm out of my current gallon of ONR I'll be switching to DG rinseless as I bought some for my buddy and tried it out and I really liked it.......ALOT!
Does anyone know the effectiveness level Optimum No Rinse Wash & Wax in terms of how long does the wax protection last. Trying to figure out the place for this product over say just sticking with Optimum No Rinse Wash + Optimum Spray Wax.
Generally a product that does everything well doesnt do a specific thing excellently. So I would assume ONR with OCW would still be superior but I could be wrong.
