All the way from London, England!
I am a 35 year old who has always looked after his vehicles, be it my first car which was a rover 216 to my current Audi A8.
I am self taught and have only done everything by hand so far, products I use which are locally available.
1) Autoglym
2) Meguiars
3) Poorboys
4) Dodo Juice
As everyone else, my routine involves getting the car washed (hand only). Then claying and moving on to polish and finally a layer of wax. Wheels and windows are occasionally clayed depending on their condition. Then wheels sealed. Engine bay detailed. Leather cleaned using Gliptone leather cleaner and conditioner.
Mike I must confess that I have only recently come across your videos on YouTube and subsequently the forum and iPhone app which I am now using, due to the fact that I am looking to purchase both a rotary and Dual action polisher to remove swirls and oxidation from the paint. I guess all this peer pressure to achieve perfection is taking its toll!
My knowledge and passion will only grow thanks to you and everyone else here and I wish you all nothing but the very best.
A few pictures of my cars that have been detailed in the past
