All the way from London, England!

I am a 35 year old who has always looked after his vehicles, be it my first car which was a rover 216 to my current Audi A8.

I am self taught and have only done everything by hand so far, products I use which are locally available.

1) Autoglym
2) Meguiars
3) Poorboys
4) Dodo Juice

As everyone else, my routine involves getting the car washed (hand only). Then claying and moving on to polish and finally a layer of wax. Wheels and windows are occasionally clayed depending on their condition. Then wheels sealed. Engine bay detailed. Leather cleaned using Gliptone leather cleaner and conditioner.

Mike I must confess that I have only recently come across your videos on YouTube and subsequently the forum and iPhone app which I am now using, due to the fact that I am looking to purchase both a rotary and Dual action polisher to remove swirls and oxidation from the paint. I guess all this peer pressure to achieve perfection is taking its toll!

My knowledge and passion will only grow thanks to you and everyone else here and I wish you all nothing but the very best.

A few pictures of my cars that have been detailed in the past

Welcome!

Love the TDI. Don't forget to check out the tunes available for it too :)

Stock HP/TQ are around 236hp/406TQ but with a simple Stage 1 Software Tune/Flash you can bump that up to 309hp/479TQ which would make for quite a nice rush as you press the go-pedal. Im the MAN

Welcome from across the pond in NJ. Well kept vehicle, great reflection.

Yes it sounds interesting, what is the cost and how would I go around doing it ? Are you in London?

We may be back next year for a 2 day class. Be sure to sign-up for the Autogeek.com newsletter as it will be announced ahead of time.

The class SOLD OUT this year and I expect it will sell out next year.

Mike! So nice of you to personally say hello , I would definitely be interested in coming and meeting up, I'll be sure to keep my eyes peeled for the next one!

Hope you had a great time and enjoyed in England!

P.s I have posted a question in the detailing forum on some problems with tree sap removal on my car, maybe you can shine some light on it when you have a moment or two
