AutoGeek is a RIPOFF!

ight dat dude should smoke some more crack and drink more shine !!!

lol

Sounds like my in-laws...the accent part  I have a neighbor like that too. Funny though, he always ask, "how do you get your paint so clean, shiny, and smooth?" Proof is in the pudding.

BTW, great signature scripture.

That's not nice! He had no teeth because of the chewing tobacco not his lineage and adding random R's into words where they don't belong is southern-Missouri dialect! Hehehe. (Unfortunately, both statements are not in the least sarcastic. I love living in a rural area though!)

Adding the r into wash is a common thing here in Oklahoma as well. You just can't recognize it from my typing. I have a very strong southern dialect. I'm very well educated though. I myself have to purposely make it into warsh when talking as I'm not quite that bad but you can easily hear the dialect. It comes out more depending who I'm around and conversing with.

I wish somebody would ask me about all that "stuff". Usually my neighbor drives by and said lookin good, mine next, or something along that line. My other neighbor I have seen wash by hand but very seldom. We don't really communicate after a drunken butt showing he did one day, so I have never offered any advice.

Pine Sol? Really?

I bet if you would have offered a free waterless "pine sol" wash on his beat up pick up he would have been smiling ear to ear saying how great the stuff is!

Screw this, I'm getting the Wal-Mart version of PineSol, save some money while cleaning the car. Anyone want my 3/4 gallon jug of TW rinseless, LOL!

WARSH....that explains a lot too!

Sent from my SPH-M930 using AG Online

Pine Sol you say?, so I've wasted my money:(
Headed to the Dollar Store, two 64oz bottles for 3.50, that should last me two months or more.

Really though my guys at work think nuts, they're like how much did you pay for that MF towel?
One of my guys told me once he'd never let me touch his bike with my high end products.
Well guess what?
He got home only to find his daughter washing his new 2013 Harley with an old red shop rag and swirled it up big time.
First he went to the Harley shop and bought some Harley Swirl Remover but it didn't do anything.
The next morning he comes in my office and ask if he could talk with me about his problem , I said sure have a seat.

He didn't just come out and ask me to help him oh no if he did he'd have to eat crow. Lol
So he asked , what would remove the swirls?
I said not sure and left it at that.
The next morning I brought over my PC with my four inch pads, my Über Compound, WGGPS and a few MF towels.
I got him to park his bike in the motor room, then I went in there and did a RW, clayed the entire bike, put on a white hex logic pad using the WG Über , a few passes and they were all gone, then I sealed it with the WGGPS , we then brought in out into the sun, to his disbelief he said man that's some good stuff, where can I buy it?

He then asked me if he owed my something, I said $125.00, he dame near fell over then I said JK but never question my work or my products:)

That's funny, I tend to play that way too.......well played sir!

I can't say that Pine-Sol doesn't work? I've never tried it. Has anyone here? Who knows... He might be on to something. :)

We need someone to try a waterless wash with diluted Pine-Sol, on a dark color. Then post a review.

There are some great stories in this thread BTW :dblthumb2:

-edit- whoa, I missed this one... There's gotta be some humor behind this story.
We don't really communicate after a drunken butt showing he did

LOL!!!! this made me laugh.. what does he think the car clay is ... kid's play doh repackaged and colored for the older crowd??!?!! ahahaha

Maybe the original post was a little bit on the hyped side? And maybe not?

All I can say, is here in this lazy deadbeat desert, and with the people here, I'd be lucky to make $200/year if I opened up a detailing shop.

Such, is very very very very low on the priority scale.

Now, a Dominos Pizza, that's a different story!

Lol great story! I could only imagine what the less informed on car care think about people like us

Tell him to try out pine sol on his truck and let you know how it works out.

WOW!! Unbelievable!!

Why is that some people prefer to publicly "put others down"?
It is to only "temporarily elevate themselves"...in my viewpoint!

IMHO:
They are nothing short of a handsome, yet haughty mien.
(There you go: My proposal to not be left out of this genre)

Therefore, I say:
-'Silence these fellows; I would they had some cause to prattle for themselves!!

-May the curse of Mary Malone and her nine blind illegitimate children chase you so far
over the hills of Damnation, that the Lord himself can't find you with a telescope.

Bob

Haha, you got it Bob!

It does strike me as odd the responses I got. Maybe he just thought he was so much older and wiser than I, that someone must be taking me for a ride. After all, I could take a sponge from the kitchen and spray on some general purpose cleaner and get the car just as clean. Of course, the finish will then be damaged. That seems to be the point of contention between 'AutoGeekers' and the general population. It really has nothing to do with CLEANING, it has everything to do with not damaging the finish when doing so.

Can't fix stupid!!!!

Lol..but I have some guys called us stupid as well...can't fix it..never

before using leaf blower over my SUV, people look at me at weird eyes and after that..you guess what..dog's #### around in front of my yard.. Im the MAN

That dialect isn't exclusive to the south or Misery. I grew up in Illinois and was taught that George Warshington was our first president.:)

You know guys, maybe he was right.

I just cleaned my kitchen floor with Detailers Pro wash/gloss and when I son spilled some soup on it, the beading action was awesome. I understand DP Auto Bath Shampoo is great for automatically remove ring around the tub. I'll have to give it a try.
