I'm going to try to finish up my project. My PC XP is just about dead so I have to finish out by hand! Going to be busy when I get home!Im the MAN

I'll throw in a last one.. Forgive me for the qaulity of pictures as I forgot to charge the camera over night. So I used my 2mpx LG camera phone.

I washed with AG foam gun using CG's wash N gloss
dried with MF towels and leaf blower
Wheels were cleaned with megs APC and various brushes
Clayed with Clay Magic blue
Correction gained with Menzerna SIP W/ Orange CCS pad
GG DA
Paint protected with Menzerna PL sealant
Tires followed up with some Megs tire shine

After washing the vehicle still looked dirty(faded with haze). First time this 2006 Chevy 1500 was has ever been properly detailed since bought from the dealer. Had the usual swirls, rids, etc etc. Everything a black car let alone a truck could get for not being taken care of although suprisingly nothing was heavy in the paint IE: deep scratches and what not.
The only thing I wasn't able to clean was the side mouldings. Mildew has worked its way underneath the plastic where the chrome stripping was and stained. Customer plans on replacing those now the rest of the truck looks new. It was getting late and the final pictures were taken @ 7:45pm sorry for the lack of lite.
The SIP did well besides dusting like crazy. The orange pad worked like a charm and now the truck looks deep and black. No more swirls, haze, etc. Very happy customer overall. I took a picture of the rear pillar and thats the fade that covered the truck after washing. Also I got a picture of the fender and side of the hood and a good before and after pic. It looked terrible before.
Ther Interior not pictured just got a wiper down and vac as it was in very good condition.
The last picture is after washing the vehicle and was before correction.

Saturday before I started on the black truck I did this ladies caddy at the same time so I was working between the two. I Finished about the same time with this car. Both customers were pleased when their vehicles were delivered. The caddy has only been cleaned twice since it was new. So getting both vehicles done and both right was my main concern. I have had 3 calls this morning from their friends and family wanting me to tackle theirs next.

Washed with AG foam gun/CG's wash N gloss, TBM w/grit guards
Dried with MF towels and leaf blower
Wheels cleaned with Megs APC
Customer did not want any tire dressing applied
Took out the good Ol GG da W/ CCS green pads
Just used XMT360 followed by XMT180

Forgive me as I have been lazy and did not have my camera charged and used the cell. Didn't take too many pictures. The interior was just wiped down and a vac. That was all that was needed. Very pleased customer. I explained that next time she made need a clay treatment as the paint didnt feel that well (plastic bag) and she also felt the paint surface as well and agreed.

Guess I'll add this one into the mix then. :)

Well I said end of the month, did not put in exact date sorry but I can't see where there is any harm in picking the winner tomorrow. We are all here to have fun and learn and that is what I am trying to do with this contest.

On that note, winner will be picked tomorrow, I really appreciate everyone that entered into this. You are all winners in my mind for taking the time to share your work with everyone. I don't think those that haven't done a show and shine realize the amount of time that goes into shooting the pictures and posting the write up. So thank you everyone, I really appreciate your contributions to the forum and to the members.

I missed out entering this time but I will be looking forward to next time for sure. I sure have enjoyed everybody elses entries though! Thank you!

Unfortunately I didn't take many pictures of this because it was almost getting dark and pictures don't usually show how good the car looks in person. I took a few shots that I thought would be good for a background though, so maybe they will be decent.

Because it was relatively new :), I washed it with Gold Class and just did SwirlX, and M21 on the paint, I believe it is Hot Shine Gel on the tires and the trim was done with Back to Black. The windows were cleaned with invisible glass and the interior was done with M40. This was before I really started to do much research outside of Meguiar's line :p.

Anyway:
