Can you please fix the countdown clock? This issue has been pointed out plenty, and it's still not fixed! There's only 30 minutes left for free shipping, yet it says 3 hours left!

Mine is working and is actually in perfect synchronization with my CPU clock time, where are you located?
It is a flash element so I can't really see where it is grabbing the time from. It is possible that it is grabbing it from your IP or ISP address, system time, etc.

I'm on the west coast. The time clock would make sense to end at 6pm PST, but it says sale ends 6pm EST. Doesn't make sense at all. This happened last time too. I thought I had 3 hours 30 minutes according to the time clock, then 30 minutes later, the sale was off.

If the sale is set to end at 6pm EST that is 3pm PST....

Ah, well then in that case their time clock is static and not interactive. It is set to end at 6:00 their time (GMT -5 Eastern Time) and doesn't detect where you're actually located.

In geek terms for the IT/web development department of AutoGeek, you need to write some code that detects where the http request is coming from and change the time acccordingly. Should be relatively simple to do by IP or ISP. If you go to Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test, they have auto-detect where it locates you and your ISP. Or you could just hire ME to come work at AutoGeek and make your website/network B.A. Im the MAN

Being in the same time zone as AG, this does not affect me. Nah nah nah nah nah nah! :coolgleam:

Or we could just get everyone to move to EST and we can all hang out in the Show Car Garage all day! :props:
Our sales are based on our time zone and we do our best to clearly mark EST on everything. So if you are in PST you are three hours off of us. :work:

If it gets confusing to you just call us, if we dont answer its after 6pm our time and we are all in the garage playing.
:autowash:

If we answer we can tell you what time it is here and we will give you free shipping! But I really think best policy would be for everyone to relocate to Fla, its really nice here all year long! Plus you can come bug us all the time! :grouphug:

I'm all down for that idea...I am already in GA, only 5 hours away, so relocating me to the AutoGeek shop would be no problem at all :) :awesome: ;)

Ahhh...maybe one of these days :xyxthumbs:

Unfortunately Florida doesn't exactly have the industry I'm in so I'm stuck in Texas. BUT, I think AG should open up a shop in Houston!!!! Plus that way, all us Texan detailers (professional and enthusiast) could attend your training classes... It stinks not having anyone doing detailing classes out here.

Now that is an idea I can relate to. I really wish that AutoGeek would open up some more stores. I really think they should have one in every State! :props: :iagree:
