Aztec Hot Rod or Durrmaid Super 1600?

Kristopher-

Do you have to apply a god amount of pressure to get the top tank on and off?
I have to push down somewhat hard because it hits the handle. Wasn't sure if that is normal.

haha, yeah...completely normal. I forgot all about that. It feels like you're doing something wrong doesn't it? lol

When I was putting it together...I noticed that. I thought about adding a washer or two to push the handle away. But, never did it.

For all you mytee users and Aztec users, do any of you have problems running off of household power, or do you always use generator? I want one that I don't have to worry about always using my generator in order to run. What do you suggest? Thanks

Another vote here for Mytee Lite.

I use generator power and also 15amp house outlet. I preheat water since I'm a mobile service. I use a bucket and bucket heater while I vacuum the car.

When I'm done I pour the heated water in and extract with tap water and xtract solution.

More than enough to do seats, carpet and mats of a large car, truck and almost a van...depending.

I charge $150 for vac, shampoo and detail interior and windows, exterior wash n wax then dressing. Also chk tires and fill up ww fluid too....

Does your mytee run on 15amp because you don't use the heater? I thought it would only run 20amp?

I have the Durrmaid and have used it for a couple of years. It works and runs on my 15 amp service. I had the opportunity to use the Mytee at Boot Camp and it is by far easier to use and IMO a much better machine. I recommend the Mytee and Mike's Boot Camp without any reservations.
