Was it the Aztec I read so many bad reviews on or was it the other smaller unit?!?!? Cant remember the names.

The Durrmaid has given many people problems. I was choosing between the Durrmaid and the Aztec for my mobile van. I took everyones advice on the Aztec.

Now wasn't it you who just made a thread on how nice and friendly this site has become?

:bat:

Seriously? Was that bad?!?!?! I read reviews on either the Duramade or the Aztec - couldnt remember which one.... but one of them was an obvious no go. Looks like Kris answered it though - was bad reviews on the Durawhatever. C'Mon - that wasn't bad Flash Im the MAN

I've been using the Mytee Lite II for about 2 years now, and it works great. It gets hot really quick...which I really like. The 2 gallon tank empties pretty quick IMO.

I also happen to have the Aztec. But, I've yet to use it cause it's for my mobile van which will be done in just a few days. I'll try to remember to come back to this thread and let you know how it is in comparison.

I already don't like the idea of waiting to the tank to heat up. But, once you get used to it and plan ahead...I don't see it mattering much. I'm guessing they'll be pretty equal in performance. But, I can't say for sure.
I know this is an old thread but, have you had a chance to use the Aztec much and how do you think it works?

Honestly? It's crap if you ask me. I would trade someone for a Mytee Lite II, and give the $200 without blinking.

The positives:
-It gets a little hotter than the Mytee Lite II
-It's more portable, smaller unit than the Mytee

The negatives:
-A smaller 1 gallon tank, requires many refills
-the wait time for hot water
-It's loud as hell!
-the psi is SUPER low

That about sums it up.

Well,
Think im going to take the plunge myself for the Aztec Hot Rod! I know this is an old post but has anyone else had anymore experience with this machine or anything to add? I have my mind set but just wanted a little more input before I pull the trigger! Hey Flash I see you're from Memphis :-)

Guess I need to check it out. I don't typically do a lot of carpet shampooing but want to make a good purchase. Would like to open up to more interior details during winter months

I just bought the S300, and have only used it once, but I am impressed with the unit. Everything is robust and high quality as far as I can see.
