Yes once baseball starts, John and I will become instant enemies!!! :bat: I get to start calling him Yankee again and he gets to pick on my when Red Sox die back down in the last half of the season!rops:
Don't worry, Oriole fan is here. You'll probably both have plenty of opportunities to pick on us unless we start doing some serious overachieving again (like the last 2 months of 2010).
I am a White Sox fan too. I admit that I haven't followed them very close in the recent years but, last year a dream came true for me - I was able to attend a White Sox game at home! Thankfully they won so it just completed the experience!
A lot of positive things and a few dreams came true for me last year and I hope it continues this year :cheers:.

Manny Ramirez going to the Rays... eleven 2010 Rays leaving (so far)... just shoot me! The Rays' management must have taken a field trip south to Barnum and Bailey to try to learn how to sell tickets.
(I do like Johnny Damon and think that was a great acquisition.)
Best post in the thread was "Pujols Rules!" Albert is a class act.
Meghan, you know I love you dearly, but you gotta lose that team! I don't care if Youkilis batted .307 last year, will someone please tell him he looks freakin' wierd at the plate?
Best thing about Spring Training is all the twenty-something millionaires coming to Florida with their hot cars needing detailing services!

Ahh you know I love you but Red Sox by birth I just can't change that!! And Spring Training makes we very happy as I am about 2 miles from one of the stadiums, I already have my Red Sox tickets!!! Im the MAN

I bought tickets the day after they went on sale for the Red Sox game and the were already sold out of the seats, tells you Red Sox fans rock! So what I have to sit on the Berm, the beer is just as cold out there!

Really?! Wow that's really fast. I went to spring training 2 years ago (I think) and we bought standing room only tickets before we went down there. We only got tickets to one game. So, while we were at the stadium we figured why not check and see if they had any tickets available for the next day. They did! Right next to the visitor's dugout front row. It was awesome. I literally could of reached out and touched the players!

Tigers fan here! Last year was a big dissapoint IMO. Miguel had triple crown like numbers and the team was only .500! Now with Martinez in the line up, and if Magglio stays healthy this could be a very potent offense. I hope Austin Jackson avoids a sophmore slump, he had great numbers last year. Our pitching looks pretty solid, I'm really curious to see how Brad Penny does.. I remember seeing him in the All-Star game a few years ago and was really impressed by his stuff.

I'm so disappointed in the fact that we lost half our team this offseason due to free agents and trades. I don't really expect much from Manny Ramirez, but Johnny Damon looks like a good acquisition. It would be sweet if we made it to the playoffs this season, and even go all the way!
I'm really going to miss Carl Crawford. He was a class act, and a tremendous talent. Sad to see him go to such a corrupted team.
However, I did get his final at bat as a Ray on video.
