Bead Maker?

Okay, so I'm not one that's quick to say products are making a BIG difference in the final appearance of a vehicle, BUT.....this is a case where I'm going to make an exception. I love trying out new products and likely have more than most in my various cabinets, some used, some duds. I jumped on the Bead Maker wagon later than some but had it on the shelf and decided to try it out on both our coated vehicles. I will say that after 2 layers and a full day of sitting in the garage even my wife walked outside to get something and said WOW! She asked if I did anything different to my car. Not that she didn't notice hers as it too looks amazing in terms of gloss but we were in and out and around it all day yesterday while visiting family. My car never got a second glance from any of us.

Needless to say, I do actually see an amped up gloss or glow on the car compared to normal. It's coated with a single layer of GYEON's Q2 Pure topped with GYEON Skin (both done in July). Wheels were done with GYEON's RIM coating and they too were sprayed with Bead Maker. Now for the record I only cleaned the face of the wheels when I rinseless washed it this week since I'm going to do a wheels-off cleaning and removal of some balancing tape that is stuck on them from a recent installation of Michelins. Not sure if it's going to show to most here but I will give this product a thumbs up for gloss level. Nicely done guys!

I look forward to your opinion on how it reduced the way the surface was super hydrophobic because of Skin. Let’s see if the reduced performance is worth the added gloss. It sure looks great on those pictures.

We'll see how much it changed. I doubt it will be much at all. I've put pure CarPro Reload and GYEON's Cure over top of my coatings and nothing changed hydrophobic wise. Typically my drying aid is the mix of ECH20 with Cure/Reload and the same, no difference. It didn't all of a sudden drop to the lessor hydrophobic property of Reload or Cure. Only the upcoming rain and then wash will show for sure.

Not sure it will really matter as it will eventually wear off revealing skin once again. Coming up on winter it's all moot as I'll be re-doing both vehicles in the spring regardless. Stay tuned. I'll know more later this week when I wash them again and have my wife's out in the rain for sure.

Keep us posted. Read elsewhere that the slickness is all but gone within a week and almost gone after the first wash.

Will do. If all it turns out to be is super slick drying aid I would not be surprised nor would I care. The coating that lives underneath will live on and BM will just serve as a sacrificial layer I guess. Beadmaker-GYEON Skin-GYEON Pure in that order.

I coated my black car with CQUARTZ about 8 months ago and the only thing I normally do is wash then detail with reload/echo mix. I decided to try BM this weekend as we has some warm weather. I feel the gloss is on par with reload/echo but it does have a much greater slickness to the paint. The thing I noticed most was how easy it was to put on without streaking. As most people know that have tried it reload/echo can streak easily depending on mix and amount applied. I was able to spray as much BM as I wanted and even if I didn't completely wipe it off it left a streak free surface.

So between the streak free finish, slickness and the cost BM is a winner for me.

We traveled about 100 miles yesterday and when we got home the XT5 still looked good. Today with my OCD I washed it and it had to be the easiest wash I ever did. The mitt just slid over the car :) Of course BM was used as a drying aid also.

I would like to see how it looks after a week of snow road treatments and an initial power washer rinse.

Hell, maybe I should get some and pour it into my rinseless wash if it's that slippery.

Haha! I'm wondering what type of mess might happen if I mixed a little with my ECH20/Cure mix I already use :)

As slick as BM is supposed to be it sounds as if it would make a first rate clay lube, cheap too.

We need a good clay lube that comes in a gallon since so much is used I hope it’s BM.

Took the wife's car out in the rain today for several hours. Very slight change in contact angle compared to the GYEON Skin top coat the Syncro kit included but zero change in water behavior. It is still as hydrophobic as it was prior.

Used a leaf blower to clear the rain from the vehicle when we returned home and it was just as easy and just as clean as ever.

Pics after I settle in for the night.

My neighbors think I’m nuts if they see me drying off my car from the rain. Sometimes I forget to close my garage door while I’m doing it. LOL

Mine know I'm nuts but my cars are shinier than theirs

Due to price and performance you could use it that way for sure, I see nothing wrong with that, some might say you're wasting it though, LOL.

In the summer I usually detail my car outside in the driveway and would often hide behind the car when the neighbor comes out. lol.

Here are a couple pics after the rain I mentioned. The second is after a basic blow dry with the leaf blower.

Vehicle has been coated with GYEON's Syncro since the first week of April - about 12,500m miles ago.

Then was was recently topped with Beadmaker:
