Sure, 2 weeks isn't a long time, but most spray waxes are done for after 2 weeks! I think this OCW coating still has a lot of life in it!! 2-3 months? Great stuff, very easy to use! I'm sold you can use OCW as a standalone LSP!

Holy cow...if you ever park that baby in the sun and allow those large water beads to dry down...you'll have to buff the water spots out.

I'm one of the rare birds who doesn't look at water beading (especially those giant sized ones) as necessarily a wonderful thing.

The day somebody comes out with a product that sheets water off without any beading...it will be an instant game changer. Water beading, as cool at it looks (proves the paint is being protected), can be a curse as well.

I'm a Optimum fan....just not a fan of water beads large enough to dive into.

Yeah i would sooner walk out to a clear car but until the repulser wax is invented and put to mass market ill endure the bit of muck left from the rain evaporating....:xyxthumbs:

Rain water= no spots

Depending on the level of polution in your area rain water can cause spots, because the rain absorbed particulates on its way down (such as evil pollen) and/or because it is acidified by airborn pollutants.

I got at least 8 very good weeks out of OCW.

Good point, but I've never noticed spots after rain in my area.

I'm also a big fan of Optimum Car Wax. It's incredibly easy to use and makes the surfaces treated super slick.

I just got some of this. Can't wait to try it.

As far as sheeting action waxes go, one was made years ago. I ordered it from an infomercial. It was a wipe on coating that claimed 6 months of water sheeting. They even explained how beading was bad. This was back in 1993. I applied it to my Audi I had at the time. It worked as advertised. However, it was difficult to work with and left streaking and rainbowing on my car that I could not get rid of for months. That might be the reason it did not suceed. I wish I could remember the name of it.

nice pics! how do you like it compared to UQW? big fan of that and bought a gallon of it

I'm a sucker for a good beading pic and a smokin hot vette, thanks for sharing Mark.

Not crazy about seeing beading myself (prefer sheeting i.e OC/OG/CQ) but that is still one bad azz Vette Mark!

Longest lasting spray wax that I found thus far! It looks great and makes waxing hard to reach areas a breeze.
