Beading of Optimum Car Wax after 2 weeks! *PIC*

I agree that this can be used as a standalone. I find myself reaching for this more often than any other lsp because it's much more efficient to use

I've been using OCW on some daily drivers (my mothers 2011 Lexus ES350 and my 2010 Infiniti G37) and I am only getting 2-3 weeks TOPS beading out of it. Though i can get months out of Souveran Paste for my garage queen that gets driven 1500 miles a year. There are way too many variables to really say this wax can last (those cars were prepped). I do enjoy using it, and the shine it gives is VERY nice for how easy it is to apply, but I really don't think it is a great 'wax' for protection purposes.

I am also an OCW fan especially with the revised formula some time back.

Rain= no water spots? Maybe in your world but certainly not where I live.

Well, typically, if it rains hard and strong, most of the contaminants in the air are washed away. Then, the leftover water fell through clean air and has nothing to deposit onto the car.

optimum car wax is excellent in my opinion.. plus after a recent application, there was a monsoon thunderstorm on my way home to the city, but was not raining in my neighborhood..so when I got out the car it was dry, the wax made it so slick that water slid off. same thing with optimum instant detailer on my windshield (you could see the rain run away from the glass so to speak lol which helped with visibility)...put down a layer of optimum opti seal and optimum car wax how can you go wrong or make it any easier? lol
