Sudden rain while I was at my buddies house. Took this pic after the car had been sitting for a couple hours. As you can see, the beading seems fairly tight, but rather large. Are large beads good? On the vertical panels, the beads are smaller.

All beads suck :) imho... Well, they look awesome but I sure don't want them sitting on my car if I can help it.

Just go out and hit the gas, i'll guarantee that z06 can dry itself off pretty well.

I'm not saying that I like beads. :) I'm asking does the beading look good for what it is? I thought beads should be small and tight. These beads are tight, but rather large.

The qualities of the beads will be controlled by the makeup of the sealant or wax as well as how clean the surface is when it rains and probably other things too.

Thanks CEE! :props: I love learning something new everyday. FYI, the sealant is duragloss 601/105.

Ya if you can grab traction in the rain :p
Good point. I never drive my car in the rain if I don't have to. The rainstorm came out of nowhere. Doesn't usually happen like that in southern CA. My car has rarely seen rain. That's what my beater is for...lol
