Best Brand Top to Bottom

For me if it's only one, Carpro gets my vote.

If money was no issue my favorite is Wolfgang.

Chemical guys is my most used product line followed closely by Meguiars. Factoring in price I gotta say 1.Chemical guys 2. Meguiars 3.Wolfgang

too hard these days to just stick with just one brand when you have so many great products out there. to name a few (in no order).. griot's garage, mckee's 37, lake country, buff & shine, and carpro proves the point. one may offer a more likable product (to me or you) more than another so it kinda balances out. i love to support a company that strives on customer service which is very important to me and not always the product(s) themselves. even if someone's product is the "best" but their CS sucks, you can always find an alternative (there always is this day and age) from someone else that is more deserving that appreciates the business each and every time. i don't like to put money in someone's pocket if they are ungrateful and unappreciative...

I know I am opening a can of worms here but wondering how many people are like minded and stay with one brand mostly. I have different polishes, waxes and sealents that I use in different situations but I typically stay inside a brand, opti-seal sealent and optimum detail spray on that car, so what do you think is the top brand here on autogeek top to bottom? If you could only use products from a single brand who would it be?

If I were to choose one brand of products, hands down it would be Meguiar’s. Their professional detailer line is an excellent value. Plenty of bang for your buck.

But... if I were given a second choice, it would be McKee’s 37. Their Xtreme iron remover is hit or miss for me though. Every other product I have tried from them is fantastic!

Alright... third would be Optimum Polymer Technologies. Two words, Power Clean.

Since we’re giving multiple picks; I already had McKee’s at #1; I would throw Blackfire and Pinnacle in there as my more luxurious picks. Pinnacle, includes PBL. Yes, I’m a PBMG fan. I’ll also throw in Poorboy’s as my best value pick, although McKee’s is close behind in value.

I also think the answers on this question will be skewed (rightfully so) by whether or not one is a DIYer, or a pro where value comes into play.

A bottle of polish, wax, or a wash concentrate can last me multiple seasons as a DIY guy. (20+$ for a 16oz. bottle is no big deal for me in this usage capacity).

But a pro would lose a few coins buying products like this, so bulk and/or price point would surely affect his/her choice of favorite lines.........

If I could only pick one it would be CarPro. Mckees is a close second. You could live with either one of them without stepping outside of their brand to get everything done (depending on how you want to get it done).

I guess nobody is considering polishers in this equation. Besides coatings, the most complete and highest quality products belongs to Griot's Garage, you could easily stick with this one company and cover all of your detailing needs with the best products or amongst the best out there. Second would be Megs since they have a polisher as well.

Gotta go Carpro. Really liking car pros pads lately . Coin toss for second between Megs & McKees.

Polish Angel if money was taken out of the picture. They have alot more of products offered than AGO has to offer from them.

I could never go with one. If I had to limit to three, they would be Griot's, McKees, CarPro.

Wouldn't it be ironic if a good number of these products are all from the same place just different labels?

:)

Meguiars manufactures their own exclusive products. I know that can’t be said for every brand, but with Meguiars it’s something you can count on.

I think the problem with GG is they are too expensive in large quantities. Their gallon quantities are really prohibitive and they don't sell concentrates the way that Megs does.

And have for 22 years.

I really like products manufactured by the vendor. Meguiar's has always been a faithful ally in making cars shiny and clean.
