Best carnuba wax?

At 60 a tub. I like Bouncers Salute the Fruit on Red. Midnight Sun does not get mentioned a lot but very good wax, Max Wax extremely easy to use. Chemical Gut Petes 52 is very good also. A lot of personal preference. Get a baby Jar of Fuzion and you can not go wrong also. Fuzion is special. Good luck in your search.

I'm surprised no one has suggested a sealant vice a wax. I know the original question was about wax, but maybe the OP doesn't know about newer sealants. Menzerna Power Lock (my personal favorite), Wolfgang Deep Gloss 3.0, Blackfire Wet Diamond are all excellent sealants that last a LOT longer than carnauba, & yield great shines.

Using Collinite #915 is like going to see Springsteen in concert. Once you see him a few times every other concert when the encore is wrapped up you look at your watch and think, Bruce would have played for at least another hour. Once you try another wax after using #915 and the beading stops, you will think, man #915 would bead for at least another 4 months. Oh and in most cases you will save some $ too and it looks great! :)

I wound spend 60 tops for a nice wax I never have used a carnuba wax before ...can u really tell a difference ?

CG Pete's 53 or CG 50/50 great waxes for the money.

DoDo Orange Crush too, especially on your color.

I thought "The Once A Year Wax" was NuFinish... :dunno:

Bob

Yes Bob you are correct, NuFinish is advertised with that slogan. I was referring to TW advertising 12 months of protection.

Never used NuFinish, only OTC's were TW (once and never again), Megs GoldClass paste and liquid, and Megs Ultimate Paste.

Maybe I shouldn't of put "best" but anyhow I believe I'm going to try the Vic's contour red wax thank you for the replys

•And depending on the many variables a vehicle is faced with on a daily basis...
-A person may never know for sure if 12 months of protection is doable, or not, with just one application, per year, of TW Hard Shell.

•Regardless...and to ensure TW's protective benefits:
-Waxing twice yearly is usually doable for me.
-Don't know how much longer I can sustain that hectic schedule, though.

Here are my favorites...sorry for sticking with one manufacture

-CG Pure Concours 50/50
-CG Cleste Detaglo
-CG Lava Luminous glow (this one does good for bright colors)

Bouncers Capture the Rapture is the only show wax I have used so far and it is wet and oily. A stark contrast to the so called durable waxes out here.

Nothing like the OG green goop thats "hard as a shell"! Who needs a sealant or coating, the once a year wax :dblthumb2:

LOL Thank you for the laugh!!!...Have an awesome day and I am glad you liked my joke!!

Like a few others have said, if ya use your truck like a truck, I would definitely clay and lay down a good durable sealant before applying any type of wax.

I thought I'd never spend more than $60 on a jar of wax, but splurged and bought the Synergy during one of the sales. While expensive I feel it was worth every penny.

Truth is that there are many waxes that look good after being applied, but some only last a few washes. I also love to work on my car, so I wouldn't even mind having to re-wax monthly. Only problem is that I can't do that up here in New England.

Here is souvern. Loved to work with this wax.
Second choice would be MAX WAX.

I bought Souveran because of your excellent reviews of it I will be trying it out on my GF car this wweekend. But from what I can tell on a little test spot....Pro 4x is right!

I do not know the durability I will see about that too. I put on Synergy last weekend on my ride will be putting a 2nd coat on it. I like the wet look, HOWEVER, I think Souveran has a better depth look (same with Celeste Detaglio).

My reason why I think Souveran and Celeste has a better depth look is that they are a carnauba wax NOT a hybrid wax like Synergy. Maybe the 2nd coat of Synergy (recommended by users) might bring out the depth.

So for a carnuaba wax Souveran is an excellent choice. Only $95 per jar

BUT 1st put on a sealant. I like Menzerna Power Lock.

Again, that is just me. I have attached a pic of my ride with Synergy on it. My guess it will last longer than Souveran as it is a Hybrid Wax.
