Best carnuba wax?

I have never Claude it during the 15 years I have owned it the surface feels slick as can be I feel like claying will put swirls on the finish

Using Collinite #915 is like going to see Springsteen in concert. Once you see him a few times every other concert when the encore is wrapped up you look at your watch and think, Bruce would have played for at least another hour. Once you try another wax after using #915 and the beading stops, you will think, man #915 would bead for at least another 4 months. Oh and in most cases you will save some $ too and it looks great! :)

Well said and to take it a step further, if you wanted to, when coming out of winter and you want it to look good for the spring/summer season apply a coat or two of #915 and then maintain during the season. Then, when winter is approaching, do a good wash and paint surface decontamination and apply a coat of #476 and your good to go!

Ah, I forgot to mention I have Vic's Red Wax but have not used it. According to their instructions red and darker color cars work well with that wax. It is about $60 per jar.

Sorry for no feedback on the wax but when I do I will let you know.

:xyxthumbs:

I have used the Victorias Red wax and have had great results.

I also use Pinnacle Synergy.

But for a good over the counter wax I recommend at least once a weak to people is Meguiars Ultimate paste wax. Although its not a carnuba its one of my best "waxes" bang for the buck.

You could just throw caution to the wind and pick up some of this stuff...

If you decide to go that route, please let us know how it works out. It's just too bad Zÿmol left their ultra special trade secret banana oil out of this one...that's pretty much the only thing stopping me from picking up a tub.

Read your review and saw the pic....beautiful!! Vics Red is on my to-wax list...it is nice to know that this is a good wax too. HOWEVER, I think I am going to take swanicyouth advice and buy the Zymol Solar. I think it is reasonably priced at $30,000. I think the solar box and secret banana oils put it over the top. Oh I like the lifetime supply too!!!.....

Maybe I shouldn't of put "best"
OK...That's a different ball game then.
Kinda levels the playing field a little.

TO WIT:

•Black Magic Wax:
-You'll notice that even after several months of weekly
car-washing sessions your vehicle(s) will still be slippery as snot!

•KIT Paste Wax:
-I have a neighbor that's a Police Officer (K-9 Unit) that uses this religiously. He said he now no longer needs weight-training to keep his arms in shape in order to "exercise" the German Shepherds! :xyxthumbs:

Exactly. Hate these "best" threads!

There should be a sticky that we just point people to and in that note is every other thread requesting the "best wax". Overall, the question is valid it is just a mindset-thing that everyone needs to go through.

Oh by the way. I like Mother's waxes as well and certainly Optimum Car Wax spray! :)Im the MAN

anything with a good rep that does not say specfically formulated for t his color

Try the "Baggie Test"....I bet it won't feel so smooth to you anymore.

I have a black vehicle and have not had any marring with the Pinnacle Poly Clay and Optimum No Rinse as lube.

SWANICYOUTH:
If I was you , I would probably get Collinite 915 to start. That really is all you need. It's about $30. The thing about Collinite 915 is, unlike most waxes - most people that use 915 feel it's actually worth 2-3x the price.

So, while there are many nice waxes - there are few nice waxes that perform at 2-3x their price point.

My thoughts exactly. I have Collinite 476S and 915. These are excellent waxes and I very seriously doubt that 99% of people could tell the difference between 476/915 and some of these $200+ waxes. The comments on these waxes from multiple sites are overwhelmingly positive.

It's not how nice these waxes look after you've just applied them, it's how they look two months later that important. It's how they protect against acid rain, bug splats and bird bombs that's more important than shine.

The above post couldn't be more right!!!

Collinite for the win!!!

I've tried a ton of different waxes. Nearly everyone that's been mentioned and my favorite hands down is collinite.
