I'm getting the megs mf correction system tomorrow including the compound and wax, among many other products including a few aios.
I was wondering if any one had some experience with these pads and knew of a good product and which pad to use for the best one step..

So far (before mf pads) my favorite aio is prolly xmt 360. Or bf total polish and seal..
Just don't know what to use with and which of these two mf pads to use for a good aio

I have only used a few cleaner waxes or All-In-One's (AIO)... XMT360, D151, Mother's Cleaner Wax and a few other OTC versions from different brands.

My favorite to date is D151. It works well with MF pads and gives amazing correction ability when worked to its limits.

Anyone else got any input?

I agree on D151 with the MF pads. I use that combo all the time and it delivers great results for the vehicles we do.

You have various threads retarded like this asking everyone something thats already been asked, USE THE SEARCH BUTTON...

with megs MF cutting disc i like D151 and pf2500. with 2500 of course you need some type of LSP

I'm sorry dude autogeek online is supposed to be the most friendly for this type of questions... Anyway the best of today isn't the best in 2006 that i may got with a search button..the best back in 2003 was menzerna...with m105 coming it was the best...is it still the best ? menzerna fg400, megs m101, optimum compound II, hd cut, etc etc.. Yes I'm talking about compound..but the relevant issue is "the best" is ever changing...

Menz FG400 mixed with a little 105 hands down my opinion I do mostly one steps. For soft paint I like Meg D300.

+1 "the best" changes almost by the month if not by the week some times.
Imagine telling someone years ago that there even was a microfiber correction system..

With MF pads, you'll only be able to get away with a 1-step on hard paint. Doesn't matter how light of a polish you use. JMO.

Good point about MF pads and hard paint. That's what they work on best.

Well, that escalated quickly... :bolt:

It sure did..... What happened to there is no stupid question?

If this has been answered before (and it probably was) and someone is not apt enough to use the search feature on the forum, then we could make the effort to link those threads rather than going on the attack, right??

It does take the same amount of time to help than to bash, and if the person is a "repeat offender", in the likes of "I am too lazy to use the search button", then that person will either get the message from the "This is what I found using the search feature above" or from the "Nobody wants to give me feedback?"

Nobody forces anyone to answer threads. There are many threads I skip reading or answering because they have been appropriately answered before, or answered appropriately, or I don't have the time to answer, or don't have the expertise to answer.... and sometimes I don't answer them because I am in a "personal funk" and my answer would be nasty and unproductive.

Just saying.... now back to our regular program!

My 2 cents follow the trend that D151 and Menz 2500+LSP are my preferences.

:iagree: There is now reason ever to be a d--k to anyone. This is suppose to be a place to learn and meet people that love doing the same thing you do.

As new products come out im sure people promote and write reviews on them. Im pretty sure people have posted since 06 that's irrelevant.
This has like 100 posts and 75 of them are thread starters

I don't know man i like the atmosphere where questions you deem 'retarded' are welcome and not shunned. It's good for traffic and to pop out new informations.Sure there are many new products reviews but not all of them are spotted under AGO's radar, take example the velvet denim pad and the clay towel. They've been around for years and only come abroad here thanks to nanoskin and carpro. Questions like these will pop those under radar products sooner.

It can be annoying but really if that bothers you so much you could always go to L2D for 'first hand experience' only posts.

I realize I haven't chimed in on topic...I like Ultimate Compound with megs finishing/cutting pad depends on paint for one step.

I've used the mf system and what I can tell is many use it for the compound action then switch to foam for polish. Popular compounds are D300, M105 then switch over to foam for the polish step.

I'm still not totally sold on mf system. My primary tools are RB and Flex 3401. I still use wool and foam. I've often thought about using mf more often but as others have said it's best on hard clears.

we were all there at one point asking "retarded" questions, we all were, and his question isnt retarted, but the fact that this particular item is so common and theres millions of reviews on AGO (fact) he can learn more and at a faster pace by lurking and seeing these threads instead of waiting for people to post their opinions.
