If I didn't have to wait a week for delivery, I'd order from AG. Sucks being on the west coast for that reason. I need the clay quickly! Anyhow, any recommendations? Preferably the most aggressive.

Mothers and Claymajic are often found locally, might even find Megs at something like Pepboys.

Walmart carries Meguiars clay bar kit. (comes with clay, lube, MF, and a small bottle of cleaner wax; under $20.00). Works well...

Clay magic can normally be found at Autozone or advanced auto parts. It's my favorite clay of any I have used.

Meg's Red is aggressive.

+1 on Clay Magic - been using it for 6 years (tried Mothers Gold - gave it away after one use).

We are in the same boat. Mothers requires A LOT of elbow grease...

ive done a very bad car with Mothers and loved it. didnt take long, and did a perfect job.

dont know why anyone else has probems with it...

mothers clay is all i use.

ClayMagic for OTC.
You may also be able to locate local detail distribution store or auto paint and body supplier that may carry it.

Have you tried Clay Magic? You will change your mind... and how is the Silverado now? Done yet?

:iagree:!!!!

Mothers is the only OTC clay I've used, and if you don't use a lot of elbow grease, it's doesn't do a very good job. I'm going to try Clay Magic.

I promise you will love it... and won't have to apply nearly as much pressure as the Mothers!

clay magic (blue clay) is way better than the Mother's IMO. I like the Meg;s better than the Mother's a bit but all I ever buy OTC is the Clay Magic. The Mother's is too soft and while that makes it easier to knead and reshape it also doesn't hold up well. The clay magic is a perfect mix of what makes a clay good. Mild but not too mild, soft but not too soft. and it's the cheapest OTC clay between the 3.

Have used Clay Magic, Mothers and Meg's. I prefer the Clay Magic then Meg's.

Silverado should be done any day now. today is 2 weeks theyve had it.

ive driven this 09 Impala rental more than the truck.

clay magic has worked well for me. break the bar in half and you have two good size pieces and when you are done with bottle, you can re-use (i like sprayer) it. the nice thing is it doesn't include anything more than i need within the kit that i would have to pay more for...

Clay Magic is the only clay I use. Have tried one or two others but they do not work as well as Clay Magic.

I cut mine into three pieces using an old credit card. I reused the spray bottles, too - great for DP Rinseless Wash and Gloss. Regards, GEWB
