Best wax for White car

Just my thoughts...

But as soon as you "topped" FK-2180 with Collinite #845,
any and all metrics for determining the characteristics of
FK-2180...including its durability and good looks...
automatically became skewed. Try "testing" FK-2180,
(and that would also go for any other LSPs), all by
themselves next time around. :)

I did try 2180 as stand alone product. Breading and sheeting is no way close to 845. City has a UV Index of 12, got no idea if 2180 provide any UV protection. Initially it gives a glossy looks, but that too go away after a month or so. Still now I have only tried with 1 coat. Will adding a second coat help? I understand that there is a learning curve when it comes to 2180.

Once when I'm done with 1st coat, would you suggest that I leave it overnight and buff it off in the morning. Wait a week, wash the car again and apply 2nd coat?
FYI: I live in hot (summer temps of over 40 C ) and a very dusty/polluted city.

I do not think there is the "best wax" for any color. It will always come down to preference. I personally still use Klasse KSG 2 layers topped with 845. And I like how it looks.

Planning on getting some Madwax and trying out the Wolfgang Sealant soon.

Why not just use 845 all by itself? I haven't hear anyone complain about it's looks or durability. If your not happy with the way your paint looks otherwise, you've either not prepped it properly, or your expectations are unrealistic.

Thats what I'm planning to do now. However, I have 1 and half bottles of Finish Kare 2180 Sealant that I can't throw away. haha Since the product was imported, I think I pretty much paid more than double the actual price. 2180 has a learning curve and proper application process is very hard to find. Some say its anti-static and low maintenance product. Manufacture's website too doesn't offer much help.

To make white pop, you need to finish with a fine polish (HD Polish, SF4000, M205 on a finishing pad, or Meguiar's Ultimate Polish) in order to refine the paint. You can't see haze like you would black, but you need to do everything possible to make the finish perfect to get just a little bit more or if white.

Then, I'd use DG(Duragloss) 111, DG 105, Blackfire Wet Diamond, or a coating if you desire.

I have used Collinite 845 and it's great, but on white I'd suggest the above sealants (in that order as well).

If working an abrasive (polish or compound) isn't something you want to do then go over the car with Duragloss 501 to clean the paint and follow up with either 111 or 105.
