Just my thoughts...
But as soon as you "topped" FK-2180 with Collinite #845,
any and all metrics for determining the characteristics of
FK-2180...including its durability and good looks...
automatically became skewed. Try "testing" FK-2180,
(and that would also go for any other LSPs), all by
themselves next time around.

I did try 2180 as stand alone product. Breading and sheeting is no way close to 845. City has a UV Index of 12, got no idea if 2180 provide any UV protection. Initially it gives a glossy looks, but that too go away after a month or so. Still now I have only tried with 1 coat. Will adding a second coat help? I understand that there is a learning curve when it comes to 2180.
Once when I'm done with 1st coat, would you suggest that I leave it overnight and buff it off in the morning. Wait a week, wash the car again and apply 2nd coat?
FYI: I live in hot (summer temps of over 40 C ) and a very dusty/polluted city.
