From a distance the paint looks really good but up close it's lightly stained, lightly oxidized and has light swirls throughout the paint since it was first assembled.

So tomorrow night I'll be buffing out the paint and detailing everything else to bring the overall finish quality up to a higher standard.

Thought you guys might enjoy some before pictures of the truck...

Here's what the paint looks like up close,

Whooo, boy! That is one bad truck! Wonder what kind of gas mileage it gets? :D

:wow: holy #### that is one big bad ass truck! I would love to see pics of how your going to do the roof on the front half lol

At least you won't have to lay on the ground to polish the lower painted areas. :D

Will you be detailing everything? Tires, wheelwells, interior, etc?

Yeah really, you could mow down a Hummer in that thing!

Ahah yeah indeed.
I'm not really a pickup truck fan so I just don't get the point of having a truck of that size. Or maybe the owner is using it for work purpose...

Hey Mike, is this another demonstration of how long it takes you to work without a machine?

I wonder if those garage tiles are rated to hold that much weight. Going to be a nice turnaround!

your going to need alot of tire dressing...:xyxthumbs:

Good grief that is one big truck, seems like an overkill or perhaps its size its to compensate for the driver's lack of ....

You will need a hydraulic lift to get to that roof and hood:buffing:

That truck..... is insane.

I think I know what the next addition to the new AG studio should be: a fridge full of Red Bull! You're going to need it on this one!

That is one humongous truck! I love it! I like the lift kit too. Still clean for an off-road machine! What chevy is it?..just curious.

What chevy is it?..just curious.

Looks like a now-discontinued TopKick medium duty truck with a GMT900 Silverado 3500HD dually bed. Judging by the underside of it I'd guess it's got a Duramax diesel under the hood, possibly the Allison transmission.

Wow..you could tell by just looking at the underside. You must really know trucks! Thanks.

That thing looks bad on the fc department, but is definitely a head turner though!
