Big Time Giveaway!

Because of the affects that the profusion of OCD has wrought upon AGO members
(and...if the truth were told...is, more often than not, a nemesis to said AGO members)...

I'd like to suggest that Detail Fest attendees may greatly benefit from visiting
the booth of someone having a similar profession, as the following "vendor":

Thanks in advance...for any arrangements you are able to procure...
in regards to the above suggestion.

They also need a call center for us. LOL

A video DVD like what has been stated previously is nice, especially for those many that could not make it to Detail Fest, be it folks within USA or other countries. A tutorial show of how to apply coating, paste wax etc would be good too (especially coating, this question just happened to bump up in forum quite often). If I am to go to Detail Fest, I will make sure I visit every booth and meet up with AGO forum members that I know of. There will be showcase of detailed rides, those are "must take photo".

And how about a grand lucky draw? Not sure how it should work out, but the grand prize shall be, the lucky member will get to follow AG workforce to SEMA Show for the current year? (Ok good dream is good)

Detail Fest 2014 just happens to fall right around my Birthday. It's not to late to book a flight I suppose. It happens at a good time of year. DF is also one of the only trade shows that I know of specifically for the paint reconditioning/detailing industry. Keep up the great work! I can't wait to attend in the future!

edit: :iagree: With Bob/ Funx725! Im the MAN

This will be my first Detail Fest. Everything I have read about the past sounds great and I can't wait to come and see and learn. I hope there will be a lot of handouts to go over when we get home to help us remember what we have learned.

DF is on my list of events I want to attend in the next few years. I thought I would come this year but right now I don't think it will happen.

The best part of DF would be me being there.

Detail Fest would be something cool to go to and learn alot of cool things. Hopefully in the future I can go to it.

I haven't been to one yet but am going this year and can't wait to meet other car guys and check out all the cars and vendors/products. also any detailing stuff would be great for my growing business thanks:dblthumb2:

What I love about Detail Fest..... The opportunity to meet Forum Members, Meet some of the most renowned detailers in the industry, Meet forum members that i have become good friends with but have never met face to face.
Meet face to face with the vendors and product reps, Heard Dom of Dodo Juice is quite a character, love to see the new products for 2014. personally shake Mike Phillips hand (photo op ) Meet the staff that I know from Autogeek ..Megan, Penny etc....Product samples to take home...

What I would like to see more of.....Product demonstrations, inneractive activities, hands on...
Exotic cars as well as American muscle cars...

Never been but I wish well to all whom attend and an early congrats to the winner of the giveaway!!!

Would love to have regional Detail Fests! Bring it to the Midwest so we can learn more about our obsession. For those of us who can't do a bootcamp, it is a great opportunity to learn new techniques, network, and check out new products.

I would like to be able to make a detail fest. Unfortunately, the work schedule and 1 year old make that a bit of a challenge.

I also have never been. I plan on going in the years to come. I like the idea of having it rotate to new locations. When I make it, I plan on hitting up as many work shops as possible so more of those would be awesome.

Yeah the idea of rotating DF's would be kewl. We used to do that here with GA, AL, TN Towing Associations and yearly Tow Shows. (Still do actually.)

I'm digging the idea of Food Truck Friday. That's all the rage these days and really brings a crowd. :dblthumb2:

Streaming, not just of one area, but multiple stages/locations/rooms streaming both on the web and on the property.

And of course big fat goodie bags! :D

DF seems to get bigger and bigger each year..........On my bucket list for sure!

I also would like to see it branch out.

Slightly Bent and Allenk4 had our own Detail Fest in Austin, TX today.

Spent 10 hours on Slightly Bents Mercedes E550.

It was a Griot's and FLEX attack!

Photos soon

Like others I plan on going to Detail Fest this year. I started as a novice detailer and through being a member in this forum, using and trying many Autogeek products, I can say I have learned a craft. I would love to see a few things at Detail Fest. 1. A product sampler (low cost) 2. Seminars where I can learn more and meet new people. 3. Meet and greet the Autogeek team. 4. An area where we can demo some of the new products we all should have and tips from the experts while doing so. Can't wait to go!!

I'm new to detailing, so I've only recently learned about this. Maybe I'll get down there in the future!

I am going to put detail fest on my itinerary for next year. I definitely need more info in my brain bucket.
