Hey AutoGeek, one of my clients wanted us to perform a Correction Detail to remove swirl marks and other paint defects in this Black 5 Series.

Upon Arrival

Correction Process:
Flex XC3401 Speed 4-5
M105/ Meg's Maroon Cutting Pad
Menz Power Finish/ Lake Country White/ Meg's Yellow Polishing Pad
Menz SuperFinish/Lake Country Black Finishing Pad
Menz Powerlock Sealant

Hope you enjoyed our post! Thanks again guys. Happy Detailing...

Today I've saw one (EXACTLY!) at the streets (quite rare in here) and thought (dreamed) about detailing it.

Unfortunately I don't see a polite way for jumping in front of people at the streets offering to polish their cars, so I'll have to wait the right opportunity.

You luckily did it, and showed excellent results and photography.

Magic! Congrats mate, and thanks for sharing.

Kind Regards.

Awesome job.

When my wife's lease is up that's the car we're getting next.

Looks great.
We're they the Meguiars disc pads you used? If so how did you like them on the Flex?

Now THAT'S how a black BMW should look. Nice job!

I mostly used the foam pads, but I did have to switch to the discs for the trunk and it does take a little more time to polish after cutting with the disc on the Flex. You get a lot of haze from cutting with disc that you don't get with the foam pads, but helps with deeper defects. Not my first choice with the Flex tho. Hope this helps!

@magic... Have u ever tried mez 400 in place of Meg 105, also why not follow the Meg 105 with Meg 205?

Wow nice work!
Is that a 2105?
I did a wash and hydro2 on a Black 2015 235I the other day and couldn't belief how bad the paint was scratched and swirled.

Nice job! It seems you found a triple combo for correction that works for you on most cars. :dblthumb2:
