How does black ice compare with Meg's black wax?
How about a little Motherly love...
I've always loved, used, and keep on hand at all times, Mothers products.
The point however, is...
...the prep.
Not impressed at all with BFWD sealant's longevity on my vehicles, but I do like how it looks. Darkens black paint considerably and has a nice shine. Lasts on my vehicle about as long as old version of Opti-seal, which isn't long even after a clay and full compound/polish type prep. The Blackfire products make me take note every time I see pictures on them. My real question is about the durability of the BFWD sealant for those of us that live in less hospitable areas and would put this stuff on our daily drivers.
I've only see one real endurance test, and the stuff only seemed to last about two months or so. I really want to give the BF products a try on my black GTI, but not if I'll have to be constantly having to re-apply products. I guess I've been spoiled by Klasse and Collinite.
