just curious, did you find that paint to be on the soft side?
 
Nice job. I had a Q50 as a rental last week while traveling. It was a surprisingly nice car - absolutely in the top 5 cars I've driven in terms of comfort and drivability. The driver's seat was fantastic. Would seriously consider owning one in the future.
 
Test drove this car not so long ago when the dealership brought one by my work for everyone to try out.

Let's just say this is on the short list for me if my car dies.

I love the comfort level I get out of it.

I never ever expected to desire one of these.

Anyway..

I would say that Nissans have very workable finishes and maybe considered on the soft side. This car had a ton of swirls from dusters and other abrasives. All of the swirls and minor clear scratches came out extremely easy. Considering that I normally work on Gel Coats, all clear coats seem soft.
 
that is the kind of gloss and reflection I shoot for with my Black 11 SS Camaro. looks awesome :)
