Blackfire Crystal Seal - The 11 Minute Paint Sealant

I was under the impression that the blackfire crystal seal was just a wowa version of the bfwd?

I'm in saint pete^. We should do a detail get together sometime! On another note. I'm pretty happy with BFCS, easy to apply and great results everytime.

Same Wet Diamond polymers and it can be used on its own. I have never used CS on its own so I only know how it interacts with BFWD. BFWD creates insane gloss and slickness. When I put CS on top of that, it retains those features. I'm guessing if you just use CS as your final step after polishing, it might not be as slick and glossy as using it on top of WD...never used it that way, so just a guess?

What if you used the CS after the BFGEP and topped it with Black Ice? Can you then skip the BFWD step?

You can skip the WD any time you want. Seems like there are lots of good combinations you can use with the WD family to achieve desired results. From the reviews I have seen, the Black Ice seems like one tough wax. You could probably skip both the WD and the CS if you are using BI.

Never thought of it that way. Since I already have the BFCS, maybe i'll purchase the Midnight Sun instead of the Black Ice as a topper.

I love the BFWD/CS/MS Paste Wax combo. BFWD and CS add gloss, and slickness, and then the MS comes in and puts a little depth into the mix...especially on black paint.

My recommendation is do the WD...so easy on a blue CCS pad about speed 3 (GG6) just to spread it around (thin thin thin!). Let it haze about 30 minutes from when you finish and remove in the order you put it on. Now it has to sit for 12 hours. After 12 hours, 2 coats of CS about 3 hours apart. Let it sit for another 12-24 hours, then hand apply the MS (do a WW first if it has accumulated some dust). Note: MS is a wipe-on/wipe-off wax...don't let it haze. Work in smaller sections with very little product (I do 1-2 light swipes in the jar with the foam applicator for a 2'x2' section); if you use too much or let it haze, it can be difficult to remove. I know this seems like a lot with a lot of time in between steps, but trust me, it will be worth it...especially on dark paint! Don't be afraid to buy the MS in the smaller 3 oz. jar...it will last a looong time. Here are a couple pics of my car after this combo earlier this year (my polish step was with BF Total Polish & Seal, so I had 4 layers of WD polymers on here):

Of course the major benefits and beauties I see with WOWAs, is no dust, nasty powdery residues to deal with after application.

I was so happy with the way my truck came out I did the wife's elantra. This was after some ultimate compound and some Klasse the followed by the crystal seal...

Which Klasse did you use? Either way, applying BFCS over the top of anything is easy and comes out great!

I used the all in one polish

That's a fine choice but you know what, you might wanna try KAIO, then KSG, wait 12 hrs and then apply a coat or 2 of BFCS for an incredible look, its worth a try next time since its sooooo easy to apply, all of them!

No problem and yeah I know it sounds a little excessive but the car will look stunning and be protected for a good long time! Just think if its bombed by a bird how easy the clean-up will be, not to mention your average carwash, a snap!!
