BLACKFIRE SiO2 Spray Sealant - Water Beading Shots

About 3 weeks ago I won a free bottle of the BF SiO2 Spray Sealant for posting a picture from Mike's Art of Detailing Book about how to tell if paint is hard or soft.

I had a chance to use it on the roof of my RAV4 a couple days ago. I have other products I'm testing on the other panels.

We got some heavy rain last night and here are some water beading shots this morning of the sealant doing its thing.

I wonder. If you sprayed it on a bald man's head. Would it bead?
 
That's some serious beading...awesome pictures Frank !!!!

Same here. I sometimes go out in the rain and take videos of the rain beading up then running off. :rolleyes:

No wonder the neighbors think I’m nuts.
 
An umbrella and out in the rain for looking and takeing pictures of the beading and sheeting is fun to do and see :D

Those beading is high and tight Frank!

I just applied it to the roof of the car which has a little slope to it but as far as I could tell it's mostly beading.
 
This sold me on buying this product at some point!! If it has good durability then I will be all over it.

I go out at night and look at how well whatever LSP or spray wax/detailer is beading water. No telling what the neighbors think to see me down close to the hood looking up close.
 
Best thing about it is that is so easy to use. You cannot streak this product. It just disappears into the paint, chrome, or glass. It is not finicky like Reload or Cure. it's bubba proof.
 
Good deal. I need Bubba-proof!

I have been using the Blackfire Spray Wax,and it is amazing. It was a sample. May buy it or the SiO2 spray next.
