Blackfire Wet Diamond Pic's

I've been hearing/reading some VERY positive comments on AG Forum members that have used Blackfire Wet Diamond,I had to order some.
Well,my package arrived today.
I used the Wolfgang Polishin' Pal (red pad) to apply a nickel sized amount to each body panel.I used (2) nickel size amounts on the roof and the hood.
I applied to each panel and waited for the product to haze completely (10-15min).I then used a MF to remove each panel.
This product removes EXTREMELY easy,with very little pressure.This is by far the easiest of all the sealants i've tried,to remove after applying.
It definetly leaves a wet like appearance :dblthumb2:.

I think BFWD is blasphemy on here, but it looks great! Never tried it myself,might have to.

Looks great on your car! :dblthumb2: I have been using BFWD lately and love it. It might be hard to believe, but it is actually easier to remove than WGDGPS.

Not really. It might not be sold by AG, but you will find many forum members who use it and like it.

I like BFWD a lot. I just wish that the amazing slickness that it produces would last, but it doesn't. Maybe a couple weeks.

Unlike Werkstat AJ(not the trigger). IME, you think this stuff wipes off easily, but taking a closer look, it really smears on the paint. I probably applied it too thick, but still, there's other sealants that you can apply a lil to thick and they still wipe of clean. Looks good, but it wasn't very user friendly for me.

Interesting, I've only used the trigger. BFWD is one of the most user friendly LSP's that you can buy. Period.

If you are in a hurry, you can really just slap the stuff on and not be overly concerned with applying too much (within reason) because it will still come off easy.

That said, I did get some slight hazing when I used it on my red HHR. I may not have allowed enough time to dry before removal.

That maybe the case.It did the same thing for me the first quarter panel (5 min) I started on (front passenger).So I cleaned the area off and re-applied,this time waiting for the product to haze (10-15 min) and wiped off.Then I moved on and did the rest of the vehicle.When letting the product haze fully,it wiped off crystal clear.

Thats funny, I just recently applied it to my car and had MAJOR dusting. It was so bad that I really don't know if I will even use it again.

I've had the same problems smearing or uneven application with BFWD as some of you guys. It was def. because I was putting it on too thick. Started using the Griot's 6" with their red pad and no problems since. Nice even and thin application.

I use a LC Gold pad w/BFWD. I usually use about 10 drops per vehicle. I've never witnessed any smearing and I remove it immediatly after applying.

What are you guys referring to when speaking of "dusting" with this product?

Are you referring to whether BFWD leaves a dusty residue behind after wiping off, or are you talking about dust attraction on the paint after application?

I'm talking about the residue it leaves behind. Its a very fine, powdery mess... Maybe the OP didn't notice it since he wasn't applying it to a dark color.
