Blind Samples

Lol! It is a little oily after scraping it to put it in the sample pot. It is normally a soft to medium paste though. I apply it with bare hands a lot of times.
 
I actually touch just a bit and noticed it is really oily. I am starting to like it since it can be applied by hand. Do you get better results applying bare hand?

So what is this mystery wax cause I got no clue.
 
Not gonna tell until you use it!

I just prefer to apply softer paste waxes by hand. It is therapeutic to me. Better results? Nope, not really. Better stress relief? Yep!

Every wax sample I have ever received that was a paste ended up oily line that. Just like the comment above about the Petes 53. I love that wax and do not find it oily, but in the sample someone received it was. Weird.
 
Il let you know when I try it on my test panel. I am going to do it bare hand I need some therapy lol

Reminds me of shoe polish. The smell and texture is very similar. I'll report back once I try it out.
 
Great! Glad they are showing up. Show polish would be a great description of what this stuff is like normally.
 
I know one of you has tried the wax. What about the other two?
 
I was given a sample of the the wax. I was very impressed how slick it left the finish. The smell and texture of the wax reminded me of Collinite 845. It was also very easy on and off, after allowing it to haze for about 5 minutes.

Left a great gloss afterwards, similar to a carnuba wax, although this wax smells very synthetic.
 
I could participate to this, I have a couple product i could make some sample of , id like to do it and try some others in the same manner :)
 
Well, I guess the other two never tried the wax. However, it was IonCoat NaviWax.
I really like it on dark vehicles.

845 is a liquid wax while naviwax is a paste, how did you come up with it having the same texture?

No, I did not receive anything in return. However, I did not ask for anything either. I just wanted to share a product that I like to use.

As for the texture question, the wax did oil up a lot once I cut it and packed it in to the sample pots. So it might have seemed almost liquid like.

Do you know of a better way to send paste samples? I have noticed that every paste I send out, and everyone I receive is like that. Just like someone said the Pete's 53 was oily. I have that and it is a hard paste, and not oily IMO.

Anyone else want to play this game? I would love to keep this alive.
 
Nothing obscure or neat on my shelves. Wish i had something to have people try and see what they thought. If i ever get something neat, i'm coming on this thread and sending some out! :)
 
It does not have to be neat or obscure. It could be anything. Being that we do not know what you send allows us to give an unbiased reviews.

Haven't had a chance to try my sample yet, which is why I haven't said anything. I was wondering what it is though. So I'll still be surprised once I get to use it.
 
Where do you guys get the little tubs? I would send some blind samples out if I had something to put them in.
