Thxs, does the Rupes pads work well on the DA's. I take it that Meg's makes 3.5" pads.

Yes, IME, the Rupes foam pads do great on a PC, Griot's, G110v2, etc..
Meg's pads have 3" velcro and 4" polishing face.

Wow... what a guy. I emailed Kevin Brown last night around 12am asking about the washer mod and he responded within 15 minutes asking for my address! I asked for a paypal etc for shipping and he said "No, its free!!". Excited to try out my rupes with this mod.

I would NEVER use my Rupes without the washer. It really helps!!

I agree. Fast response. He threw one in with my pad order. I wasn't expecting that. Goodwill goes a long ways and is always remembered.

Yup, he did the exact same thing with me a couple of a days ago.
Right now I have a smaller washer in there and it's working just fine, I just wanted the tight fit version from him.
It's insane how much difference it makes with the washer mod. I actually did it because of all the black crap building up on the backing plate from it coming into contact with the shroud when bogging down. It started flicking over the paint when I was using it so I did the washer mod to stop that.. I was shocked at how it never bogs down at all any more.
