I was invited to detail cars here at Bruno's for the winter. Cool place to come to...

1. 68 Mustang Bullitt-only 50 miles on it. I'm schedule to correct paint sometime later this month.
2. 64 Ford Fairlane---rare 427 with 2 cams in the heads. Huge engine. In last pic, took 5 1/2 Rupes pads to go from one side to the other!
3. 55 Chev---waiting on big block
4. Chevelle 396
5. 427 big block Corvette
6. 69 Pontiac convert---total frame swap and engine. In process of dismantling the car. Everything going to be tossed out except the body.
7. Fairlane interior
8. Fairlane sports coupe
9. Ford 427 - Fairlane
10. 65 Malibu
11. 66 Mustang
12. GTO
13. 56 Ford---New drivetrain - Engine all way back to rear end.
14. 302 for the 56 Ford

1 & 2 --- 302 for the 56 Ford
3 & 4 --- Chassis being built for 68 Mustang - For street use!
5, 6, 7 -- Scratch built chassis for 65 Ford pick up with twin turbos in the rear.
8. Shop truck--

Again...

1. Water bottle with shop ogo
2. engine swap for fox bodied Mustang. The car is above the engine on the lift
3 & 4. My spot! Supplies are in the office where temps are stable rather than out in the shop.
5. 55 hood out of harms way
6. Door to the office/lobby
7. Work station
8. Rack with welders/sheet metal brake etc...

A few more..

1. Another work station
2. Racks with engines stored
3. Lobby area---coffee, beer tap, big screen TV
4. Parts
5. Counter where customers check in for service.
6 & 7. Fairlane's 427 - Took 5 1/2 Rupes pads to reach from side to side. Frickin monster!!!

WOW!!! Nice gig, Tommy. I like your "selfie" in the Sports Coupe!

Thanks. I still can't believe this place! This is a real one stop place for classic, customs and hot rods. They do everything---build chassis, swap chassis, pull bodies off and put them on new chassis, engine swaps, electrical, A/C etc.

I am to keep all the cars clean and to detail each one before returning them to owners.

And super, super great people too!

Tom

Awesome gig! Looks like a really great work place and quality from the start to end detailer :)

Congrats Tom...what a great opportunity to hang out with some fantastic cars. It looks like they got the right man for the job :xyxthumbs::xyxthumbs::xyxthumbs:

Very cool! What, no Oldsmobiles?? Where's the love? LOL!

Grin.. we just kicked out a couple of standard classic Olds about 2 or 3 weeks ago!

There is one coming at anytime now. A 1964 Super 88!

And I am suppose to do complete detail, paint, interior and engine. This car will become the company car to pick up and drop off customers.

Glad you mentioned it. Forgot about this one.

Tom

This car will get the "Mike Phillips Meg #7 treatment."
