Here is something I learned when I was in the hospital. Always keep candy and snacks in your room for the nurses if you need one they might be there grabbing a snack already and I do think they play favorites (just incase two people need attention at the same time).

I know I will Gordon, it's just my nerves are really bad right now, not thinking clearly.
I've been through this before just five months ago, that's the frustration part.
 
Like a bad dream.......

So I went for my surgery but didn't have it, here's why...

I showed up on time, they "prepped" me, put me to sleep, right after I was under my doctor gets a call that he was needed at another hospital, some guy was bleeding inside the brain and it was a 12 hour surgery so I'll have to do it next week, Monday or Wednesday.
My wife asked if someone else could do my surgery being I was in surgery already, like his partner but my doctor said no, just to complicated.
Saying I was confused once I woke up is an understatement.
I'm like what?
But I understood but disappointed , you all know I was very nervous going into this one only to have to go through this all over again.

Thank you all for the prayers and I ask that you continue to do so until this is behind me.

There's so much more to this but I'm not going to bore you all with all the details except to say nothing was done to me except being put to sleep:(

that really sucks Kevin....I would be mad as hell.....I'll keep the prayers coming.
 
Yeah it sucks, but I like to think of the good side of things.

Maybe someone else's life got saved and the standby doctor didn't work on you. Who knows his experience. Might not have done a good job.

Very true Art, now that I've calmed down some I thought of that, what if?
You know the surgery is risky, sure there are of great doctors here but my doctor studied my case for months now and knows exactly what you do.
Other docs would have to go off of his reports and go from there.
I'm just bummed man, really confused.
Good thing I have a bike to detail, I'm on it now.

Must be thinking about now why did I decide to go through with this. Big time prayers brother. Get on some oral pain meds and get home ASAP! Hospitals are for sick people not detailers.
 
I bet you were confused when you woke up and if you are anything like me when your put under you were confused a few times. I always have to ask the same questions about 10 times until I am fully cognoscente and really understand.
