Jimmie said:The tips on mine were getting real dark so I washed in Woolite and cold water(think that the strands are infused with parafin so cold water). Well, they are still dark. Only use for light dust and even then I'll follow with a QD. Also, I never put any down pressure on it, not even the weight of the duster.

BILL said:Have you washed yours yet?? if so?? how is it at still picking up dust

BILL said:if you have a calif duster.....have you washed yours yet after getting it dirty and if you have washed it does it still perform as a good dust remover?
Whitethunder46 said:I've had it for at least a year and always keep it in the supplied bag. I've only used it maybe 10 times, so no reason to wash it. After at least a year of having it, I still can feel the "wax" on the duster. Basically, it still feels brand new. I've only used it for dusting off polishing/compound dust twice, but that is not it's sole purpose. I just don't like the idea using it on my vehicle if it's been outside. I'd much rather use a QD with a MF.
