Helluva shadow box, Gunny! Mine pales in comparison! One thing about mine that I really like, though, is that a buddy of mine made it for me from scratch.

Re: Wicked !!!

Lmfao!
First of all thanks for the compliment my friend!
Secondly, I laughed because of the word "wicked cool" you used which is TOTALLY an East Coast Mass, CT, jersey type word I great up with in every conversation and multiple times in a sentence as well-lol. Brings back great memories and just wanted to thank you for making me laugh and smile, along with the nice comment on the shadow box! :)

Semper Fidelis everyone!

Gunny out..........

Sure thing!

You know it's kind of funny as sometimes when I talk people guess and say that I am from the east coast. But I grew up in STL Mo. Not sure how I got started on the east coast vocabulary.

Glad I could make you laugh. Friend request coming. :xyxthumbs:

I don't outright ask people I work with but it does come up in conversations quite often. If they choose to inquire about my services then so be it.

The main issue would be fraternization. "All the services prohibit personal and business relationships between officers and enlisted members, calling them prejudicial to good order and discipline. Personal relationships include dating, cohabitation and any sexual relationship. Business relationships include loaning and borrowing money and business partnerships."

One time things, not a big deal. An Officer and an NCO going into business together is a no-go.

I personally am pretty careful about it. My CO has a Challenger SRT8 I would LOVE to work on, but there's no way I'm going for that. Do I think there would be problems? Nope. Is it a risk worth taking? Nope. Same thing for subordinates. There's no way I would work on one of my NCO or junior Soldier's cars.

Depending on your rank and position in the unit, also be sure to keep away from subordinates or supervisors. The UCMJ can get a little tricky.

Lol as a retired major my staff sergeants wife used to drop off their car on a Sunday morning to get me to clean it.

My colonel knew about it as he was advised I cleaned cars to de stress and to occupy my weekend as I was divorced.

I also detailed his car so he was in a tricky situation too
