Paint was rough on this SS... Heavy swirls, oxidation, and heavy contamination. After 2 days working it over, it looked much better!

You can really see the heavy swirls on the hood here...

After just one panel, my claybar just looked abused.... but the paint was so much smoother afterwards

More heavy swirls and marring in the halogens

Progress and correction! Not perfect, but it was only a 2 stage correction, but still massive improvement.

Checking the work in the sun after correction. Some slight imperfections left, but overall about a 85% improvement.

Thanks for checking it out!

Nasty, reminds me of the M5 I did last weekend. Did the owner take it through the car wash all the time? What products did you use?

definitely a big improvement in terms of gloss depth, clarity, and overall appearance.

Thanks!

M105 + LC PFW, Menz SIP + LC orange for the correction work. Sealed with Zaino

Looks great! I have a neighbor who also has an Camaro SS in red. The car looks to be in very bad shape. I'm going ask if he going want it detailed in the spring.

Nice swirl removal and restore... :xyxthumbs:

One thing about cars in the condition it was brought to you, if how the car was treated in the past isn't going to change, that is the owner is not going to bring up the level of care used to wash and wax the car, then the swirls are just going to return again and there's no reason to do a multiple-step show car process, especially if they are not paying for this level of work.

Do offer to put them on a maintenance program or educate them on how to maintain the results you created for them...

I always educate my customers on proper maintenance after the detail.

You do some great work and the photography is top shelf! I always enjoy the before and after shots, those are where the rubber meets the road! :props:

Thanks! First step was rotary, second was DA.

I use this approach allot too.

For the first correction step when i need to be more aggressive I use my Makita 9227 and either Meguiar's M105 or Menzerna Power Gloss with a Yellow or Orange lake Country Kompressor pad.

Then the Flex 3401 comes out to play! :props:
