UPDATE:


I just got a call from the body shop. They said that the planned date for the Camaro being ready to go home is the 29th, but the Service Advisor I'm dealing with says NOT to be surprised if I get the call early (say maybe Friday). He didn't want to commit though, just in case they hit a snag (missing attachment clips etc.) but I'm hopeful.
 
I guess the dope that hit you is footing the bill? (Their insurance company).

Yep, when I called my insurance company to report the accident I explained what happened, they found him at fault for failure to yield the right of way ... he pulled out in front of me onto the main road from a parking lot. But I'm going through my insurance because it's easier and faster and I'll get my deductible back once they go after him.

In truth, they guy was a whiner and I didn't want to deal with him anymore than I had to ... He said he saw me coming, he said he believed me to be speeding, but he pulled out in front of me anyway. And then he had to slow down because there was oncoming traffic from the other direction. BUT YET ... he feels I'm at fault because he believes I was speeding, so you see why I didn't want to deal with him ... at all.

That's why I referred to him as a "Dope" :)

Good news, keep us posted! Also curious as to what will be planned for after you receive her from the body shop!
