A customer of mine landed up driving through some wet (presumably road) paint and it has covered the lower half of both side of the car. This happened over a month ago but she has only just contacted me about it.

I am pretty limited in terms of products as she is wanting me to try and look at it this weekend and was wondering if an aggressive clay (Clay Magic purple) would remove the paint - if need be I can always follow up with a light polish to remove any possible clay marring.

If not, what recommendations have you got?

Thanking you in advance

Typically Mike has always recommended this product for people dealing with road paint on the vehicle:
Stoner® XENIT Natural Citrus Mold Cleaner THE FASTEST WAY TO CLEAN DIFFICULT GRIME! Intense orange cleaner, stoner cleaner, all purpose cleaner,

I ordered some to try out.

Thanks for taking the time to respond.

Unfortunately being all the way over here in SA it is not practical for me to ship stuff out directly due to the high shipping costs, and with the vehicle coming in the weekend, I simply do not have the time to get it here, even if I wanted to.

Im not sure if you have some aggressive clay available to you that may work.

Yeah I have some Clay Magic Purple (the most aggressive I have but I think in the bigger picture it is only a medium aggressiveness).

I am hoping that it will work

I'd go with clay and expect it to take some time. Section the paint off and go section by section. AND PUT SOME ELBOW BEHIND IT!:xyxthumbs:
