I saw my first 2015 Hyundai Genesis sedan today and was blown away, looks very majestic on the road, love the front end especially, STUNNING!

Agreed. At first glance, I thought it was the Equus. Really good looking car.

^ the new genesis is really growing on me. it's more mature in looks and has a wider stance. both the sonata and genesis re-designs were do for a make-over and as mentioned look more mature and look great (you can only keep the same/similiar design for so long). now to see what will be next for the genesis coupe!

I wonder why they even make the Equus? The Genesis has all the bells and whistles you need with the Equus maybe being just a little bigger overall with more comfort features for rear seat passengers. The Genesis competes well with luxury cars like the E class, which is more of a mid-size saloon. I suppose Hyundai wanted something to even go head to head with the likes of the S class as well so they created a yacht with the Equus. They will never reach S class of course no matter what Hyundai spends on it so I think I would rather have the Genesis over the Equus and save a few thousand bucks.

looks like sweet ride not sure about the decision on no audio. I myself like nice tunes while ripping thru the gears. Plus no audio wouldn't be appealing on a daily driver. At least not here in NY. But i do like the styling. Traded in my 2013 Gen coupe for a 2015 Sonata Turbo w/ Ultimate Tech package and really love it.

nice, i like the fluidic sculpture 2.0 and i can't wait to see the new genesis coupe when it's time for it's makeover. congrats on the new ride! :props:

btw, do you have enough machines lol... :buffing:

I really don't like how they toned down the styling on the new Sonata though, the previous car had sooooo much style. That said, I'm sure its an even more refined car, just wish they kept the designer suit on it and not given it such a "church goer" look!

Well I like both Designs So I have both now a 2011 GLS for my DD and the 2015 weekender . The new design is still sporty but with a more business ,classy look

My wife got a brand new 13 sonata 2.0 fully loaded in September of 12, it's been a pretty good car so far, but I REALLY like the new design:)

still can't get over how hot this thing looks!

Hyundai-SEMA-2014-640x346.jpg

Each and every year, the SEMA Show sees some of the craziest concept cars unveiled to the world. In the lead-up to the 2014 edition, Hyundai and Chicago tuning company Blood Type Racing have unveiled their insane Hyundai Genesis Coupe concept.

Underpinning this Genesis Coupe concept is a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine. However, it has been thoroughly upgraded and now delivers about 1000 hp at the flywheel and more than 800 at the rear wheels. Such incredible gains have been achieved thanks to parts like forged connecting rods, forged pistons, new cylinder sleeves, GSC Stage 2 camshafts, a custom intake manifold, a massive Precision Turbo 6266 Ball Bearing twin scroll turbocharger, external wastegates, top mount turbo manifold, custom down pipe, custom intercooler and exhaust systems and many, many more modifications including Nitrous.

The suspension has also been upgraded with coilovers, new Whiteline sway bars, strut tower braces, Toyo R888 tyres and new brakes.

A widebody kit with flared wheel arches, a massive rear wing, brand new front fascia and wing mirrors have also been adopted on top of the custom two-piece Work forged wheels.

So basically that GC is like a NASCAR car, other than the body(barely) nothing stock about it. :D
