wow, didn't realize that the genesis coupe is going to be discontinued...

Clearly influenced by Peter Schreyer's history with VW/Audi. Much like many of their recent designs. Meh overall though. They do really need to remove the Kia nameplate from this and the newer more mid market designs though. Will await pricing and first-hand looks but to-date the interiors are still entry level. This is a nicer of the ones they've done but again in person views will tell. Until then, Germans have nothing to fear.

any car that looks similiar to peter's styling after he left audi, now looks like a KIA. this particular vehicle is one out of a handful that is getting a lot buzz/praise. when it hits the dealerships, i'll have to check one out and test drive it in which if i like it i won't be returning back to the dealership with it. j/k... :p

someone posted this on a Kia Stinger YT video...

Lead designer for both Kia/Hyundai is Peter Schreyer, former chief designer of AUDI (and VW too).
No German engineers are joined in Kia Motors but for Hyundai yes. Recently they hired former chief engineer from BMW M division, Albert Biermann for their project called Hyundai N division. Not only that they also hired Luc Donckerwolke, former designer of Bentley too, as next in line for the chief designer position due to Peter Schreyer's near retirement.
