Can you Believe this is a Hyundai

Not really my cup of tea but I think the Santa Cruz is a very good looking vehicle for it’s class.

When i look at a car i picture if it’ll look good lowered on bigger wheels because that’s what i’m probably gonna do….

I can certainly appreciate that thinking but you just do it reverse with the Santa Cruz...a set of those military looking rims and knobby tires

I'll be honest that 99% of the news about SUVs and trucks is just white noise to me at this point, but the design and size of the Santa Cruz makes it stand out from that noise.

...and how it looks coming at you

I saw a Santa Cruise on the road a few weeks ago, it was at night and I first thought it was a Subaru Brat (?)! Only saw it for quick second and was wondering what the heck was that!

I think it had a manufacturers plates on it not dealers plates.

Nice... What a unique looking car. The red accents really give the car some visual, "pop"! Congrats!

How are you liking it so far?

Yours has the new 8-speed dual clutch? How do you like the transmission? My GLI has the 7-sp DSG and it's my first automatic car ever... and I freaking love it. So responsive and so quick off the line.

My previous car, the 2018 Elantra Sport, had the 7 spd dry DCT and I thought it was great but this new one is even more responsive, although I'm still breaking it in, so we'll see how it really is when "on boil" in time

Here are the options we have in Sweden with the N modells. Also the Hyundai i20 N is available.

The i40 is no longer available here. Seems like it's the new Kia Ev6 that fill that market. I saw in a domestic detailing group one posted his. It looks really great actually. And Hyundai Ioniq 5 ev there version of that platform.

Looks like the i30N is similar to my EN, thanks for sharing Tony

At some point I'll take my EN out on our portion of "the Mother Road" aka Route 66 and make a thread for it so you can get a feel for it. The road starts here but isn't quite as "cool" as the sections out west like in Arizona persay.

I like the wheels on the Swedish models a lot. The US version wheels are nice too.

My question with US wheels are... How hard are they to clean? It looks like a pretty intricate spoke pattern with lots of little areas that will be hard to get into.

Luckily some of the triangles are filled but I'd say the worm level is "average" for us here on AG
