WOW! My new favorite tire dressing! Used it today for the first time. A little goes a long way! Very easy to apply, a small amount goes unexpectedly far and I LOVE the look!

I can't wait to try it on some trim/etc and see how it looks.

Going to see if their durability claims (up to 3 months) are true and will post back...

Some good stuff...now if they could only make it smell as good as it performs!

Started using it myself. I'm guessing you didn't cut it 1:1?

That's good to hear. I have it but didn't try it yet.

It is by fary favorite tire dressing, 2 layers look amazing.

PERL is my favorite. Spreads very even. I dilute 1:1. I haven't use it on trim though. UTTG for trim, works very well and lasts, for me

It's my go to tire dressing love it!
Are you guy's joking? I got maybe a week with good weather from Perl; had waaaay better luck with DG 253. Even the otc AA extreme tire shine blew away Perl for durability.

I was referring to the look and how easy PERL spreads on the tire. I don't think any "Dressing" last very long in rainy or bad weather conditions.

love PERL, even diluted 3:1 it works well on tires & wells. like any water based dressing, it will usually wear down and pretty much be gone when rain is hits it, but that's okay because i give the tires a good scrubbing anyways and re-apply it once the car has been washed...

I'm wondering when people will realize that coatings will be the death of dressings for exterior pieces. Don't get me wrong, I love to detail my ride just as much as the next guy, but who wants to pass-up a coating for a dressing on exterior items? These dressings seem to fade too quickly given the outside weather elements. Coatings have fixed this. Why use dressings anymore?

I actually applied Tuff Shine coating to my tires this past year....Love it! Since this thread was about a dressing I didn't want to hijack it.

Personal preference? :dunno: I applied GTechniq on the trim of my truck and my wife's car and it is holding up well. As Goin Rouge mention proper prep is key.

You just said it yourself...tuff shine is a coating so you did thread jack! Lol just messing with you. Tuff shine is great and lasts a long time. Great for daily cars imo

PERL is also great. I use it on my garage queen undiluted for both tires and exterior trim. Two layers for tires and it's an amazing look. It does fade in the rain but you can still see there is dressing left (tested on my daily). I have noticed that on my exterior trim it has lasted much longer than other trim dressings and ive tried a good amount.

In regards to the coating comment I 100% agree. I hate having to dress my trim every time. Rather focus on paint/wheels

Some trim coatings are allegedly difficult to reapply down the road. I've heard of several people having trouble with gtechniq c4 when trying to reapply. Mine is still holding up well after nearly 2 year and probably 50+ normal washes and countless RW and WW. Guess I'll find out eventually.

PERL is pretty awesome. I use it 4:1 on most interiors I do. I also use 1:1 for tires. For trim I'll go 1:1 or use UTTG depending.

I did not cut it...used it full strength...I will dilute and give it a shot on another car tomorrow!

Hopefully you have a spare bottle so you can keep one full strength and the other with the diluted.
