Car Pro Reflect - Awesome!

I have used HD Polish regularly and I find it to dust too. If my pads are slightly damp it would lessen the dusting

Ok, now you guys are making me rethink my wanting to give HD polishes a try! I've settled on Menzerna and Sonax products because of the long working time and lack of dusting. I'd much rather clean up a little oiliness with eraser than chase down dust!

I used Reflect 2 days ago on paint for the first time. Toyota dark paint - is was really soft. Reflect micro marred like crazy. I had about 5-6 pads out. Couldn't figure it out for an hour and a half. While I was working on it - I got out my beloved Menzerna products to make sure I wasn't going crazy. They work significantly longer and are also significantly greaser/oily than Reflect was. Didn't micro mar, so I knew it was something with my technique for Reflect. Finally got the pad choice and technique down for Reflect and used it prior to UK coating. Looks nice. My paint was already incredibly shiny and glossy since it was in great condition so I wouldn't say it really added anything to it. But neither did Menz. SF4500 when I tried it either.

I used Reflect by hand and was very happy with the results. I thought it had a short work time and even used a more aggressive pad (white) than recommended (black).
Here is the review thread: :xyxthumbs:

I felt it really gave my silver paint a bright finish that had been dulled from a summer of multiple waxes and hot sun:dblthumb2:

I would buy this product again when my 250 mls run out
But then again I've never tried Menz products.....

Sorry to rehash an old three but what pad choice, speed and machine is everybody using with Reflect?

I've had good results with my GG6,black ccs pad on 4 and then bumped down to 3.5 on final pass

Thanks. I'm fairly new to polishing and looking for something a little different. I've been using a flex pe 14 with Megs UC and UP On LC hybrids.

What would a recommendation be?

Menzerna pf2500 is a really going 1 step polish and fg400 is a amazing compound that has good cutting ability that also finish real nice. If your looking for a new machine the porter cable or griots garage are both quality traditional da with proven track records

Same here, though I think Sonax has more fillers in it than Menz.

Reflect takes the correct technique and pad choice to get optimum results. HD Polish takes zero learning curve and produces just as good results. Shine Supply Classic Polish is another great finishing polish.

Polished a ride with some reload today, and again amazed this polish is easy on and off with fantastic results, still my favorite lsp

Any good finishing polish will make paint pop....what makes it pop is the removal of contamination and scratches thereby allowing the paint to show through more clearly.

If you aren't getting that with any finishing polish, its technique failure which includes pad selection, environmental conditions, polisher selection, polishing techniques, etc... pure and simple. If you only achieved that with Reflect...then it means that product works using your technique and experience level. It doesn't mean the product is unlike anything else out there.....thus the best advice Mike had ever given...once you find a product that works for you...stick with it. Key word ...."you".

Isn't CarPro Reload a spray sealant used by folks with CQuartz to revive or add another layer of protection on top CQuartz?
