So many options out there. I've tried some DP soap which was very slick and nice. Griot's Garage which was good and a few others out there. I'm thinking about trying some 3M, but unsure about them.

2-3 recommendations would be appreciated :)

What has everyone been using and why do you like it and what would you change if you could?

Simple Choices for me are DoDo Juice Born to be mild my favorite. Excellent lubricity is mild and safe for your lsp and has good cleaning power. Duragloss 901 available locally at some auto shops works well all around good soap, and Optimum car wash works well be i have to rinse it alot to get rid of all of it.

Duragloss 901 or Chem Guys Citrus wash and clear at car soap dilution. Those two are the best that I have used.

Lots of great soaps have been mentioned here already. My favorit is Dodo Juice Born to be Mild. I also have heard great things about Ultima soap, and IIRC it's one of the cheapest per wash because it dillutes down so well. My second favorite soap personally is Duraglos 901, it's faily cheap and available OTC in some places. Only downside is I believe the dillution is 1oz/gallon, so it's not the cheapest as far as per wash cost.

  • Duragloss 901
  • DP Pro Series or Xtream Foam
  • PS21 Bodywork Shampoo
  • Meguiar's Gold Class

Duragloss 901. My favorite out of all the ones I have tried.

If the car's not filthy I like the No Rinse washes - very quick and leaves a nice QD-type shine. You can also dilute them to clay lube or QD. If the car's really dirty, then Meg's Gold Class. It's cheap and it's good. My neighbor got some no-name from Wally World. It was pretty good too, but for a buck more I'll stay with Gold Class.

What about Griot's Garage Car Wash? I know of an few on another Forum that swear by it and say it is the best they have ever used...

I have Opt CW, Megs Shampoo+, Megs GC, DP Xtr, CG maxi suds I, and some others. I like them each for different reasons. I may have to pick up som GG and DJSP to try...

Griots Garage is a nice shampoo. I picked some up at my local Advance Auto parts just for kicks. It dillutes 1oz/2 gallons which is nice, and it had long lasting suds and nice lubricity. Nothing that blows me away compared to other soaps, but it is a quality product for sure.

Any Dodo Juice Car Soap. Optimum, Griot's, Ultima, and Duragloss are other excellent choices.

My two absolute favorites are Duragloss #901 and Meguiar's Wax & Wax.

Dodo Juice BTBM is amazing, but contains no gloss enhancers (which isn't a bad thing).

WG and XMT also make a very good wash product.
