car wash help

Yea, I think I was searching for it when I was on my iTouch so I just didn't see it :xyxthumbs:

Dodo Juice Sour Power my friend.
I believe I might try this next. What's the dillution. On this again? I have two 16oz botlles of dp so I can hold odd for a lil bit until maybe one day its a bogo or vip deal.

Dodo Sour Power is the only other shampoo that I have tried that add such gloss like Duragloss(actually SP adds a bit more) Dilution ratio is 600:1. DP does pretty well in the gloss catagory also.

I agree about the gloss of Duragloss and Sour Power. They are the best I've seen yet for adding gloss but I'm not sure which one added more. It had been a good deal of time between using the two for me.

With all of the talk about Ultima Shampoo, I did not see a review for it.

Maybe I missed it?

Jim did a very good one. (Linked by Dwayne)

It's a funny thing I haven't reviewed some of my very favorite products. With Ultima it's like I feel I can't do them justice or maybe I'll be biased... Been thinking about reviewing both Ultima Trim and Tire Guard as well as Ultima Paint Guard wash for a long time. I was actually about to write a review for UTTG about a year ago and then Jordan did one so I just put it off.

I think I'll put that together in a couple months. Maybe a UPGW a month after that.

Jim (Dr. Oldz) and I have a special combination review that will slowly be put together and should be something different from the norm when we post...

Dog if it would help you on your reviews you're more than welcome to use the format I used on my bucket review :D

Are any of these soaps any better than others on CQuartz? For example, do I not need the extra gloss of DG (as the CQ is glossy on its own), but instead better just using a soap that cleans better?

Also, is Optimum 'bad' or just not as well liked as some of the others? About a year ago in doing my research it seemed like Opt Car Wash was very highly recommended. But now it hardly gets mentioned.

 Thank you Dwayne, I will certainly keep that in mind :dblthumb2:

Does the Optimum Car Wash smell the same as the Optimum No Rinse?

I do not know about the new version but not like the prior version which was fairly neutral.

It is 600:1. You can check out the new and improved chart I just made here:

Regardless if you feel you can't do them justice etc I still would love the reviews! Me, as well as the whole forum knows how you are with Ultima products, yet I don't see many reviews of them from ya! :nomore:

I'd like to see what you and Jim put together as well! :xyxthumbs:

Optimum is one of my favorites. One of the top performers in all qualities that one is looking for and it has a dilution ratio of .5oz per gallon (per Dr G). So it is very economical as well. It is Bunky's favorite (I believe). One interesting fact that I have found about OPT is that it works wonderfully in direct sunlight. I know we shouldn't wash in the sun but there are times it's unavoidable. It doesn't dry as quickly as others and allows you to wash a panel or two b4 rinsing.

chemical guys glossworkz.... it smells like watermelon. who doesn't love watermelon?

It does smell good indeed but I found it's cleaning ability to be sub-par and the lubricity is too good either.

maybe I'll be biased...
I think this is the key right here. I'll be the first to admit, I'm guilty of this with optimum. In my mind, they could do know wrong. However, I've recently tried other products that I like better than optimum. It's not something I wanted to believe, but it's the truth. I'm NOT saying that you're not spot on with praising ultima products as they are great, but, being biased can distort things at times. Again, I'm guilty of this.
