CarPro Clarify

I like Sprayway also, but I also like Sonax - seems to do a very good job - deep cleans, yet can be grabby. I just bought the Gtechniq G1/G2 Coating and Cleaner along with GG's new glass cleaning towels. so maybe I'll give this a try also.

The GG glass cleaning towels seem to do a decent job. I like how they fit my hand.

Just cleaned my new chrome wheels that was coated with Dlux. Decideded to clean with a glass cleaner instead of of usual soap and water. Used Megs, Sonax, Clarify, Spray Way, Invisible Glass and the best results came from using Sprayway. Cleaned with less effort and no streaks. I don't care for a spray foam cleaner, but it did the best job.

Those appear to be slightly different than mine. I’m looking forward to seeing how they work for you.

Hey Bill,

I have the older GG Glass Towels and they were excellent for the job. These are different.

Soooo, I had some free time and used Sonax Glass Cleaner with those new GG Glass Towels. Yes, those "crinkles" seem to add more texture/scrubbing - if that's the right word, to get the glass cleaner with less work. And the other side
for polishing it to a crystal clear finish. Totally more than satisfied with them; might even buy another. But a caveat - on the instructions it says "for best results wash separately from other towels." Huh?

Hi Bob

Thanks for reporting about those towels. Sounds like I should get them if I go for more glass towels

I think they mean to wash separately from other towels used for other tasks like QDing and wax removal

I always wash my glass towels separately in their own batch

Used Clarify the other night on the back window of my girlfriend's car, which had water/pollen spots all over it. It came off very easily. It'll take some more evaluation to see if it's worth the price though.

It might be worth the price if it can clean truly streak free, as in from all angles.

Because of this thread, I just had to get a bottle of this to try.

No cars to clean today but it did very well at cleaning the bathroom mirror.

I sure hope it cleans truly streak free from every angle.

Not finding any info if it's safe on tinted windows.
I'm currently using sonax

Carpro would’ve lost all credibility if they had made such a mistake. There’s no way that would’ve made it out the door.

As far as how you guys are using this glass cleaner, are you spraying the towel? Or spraying the glass?

I spray it on my tongue and lick the windows just like the directions read.

But what about the chemical smell that someone talked about? I need to be able to make sure it’s safe to drink like my current stuff.

At first I sprayed the glass but the sprayer it comes with releases a lot of product so then I tried spraying the towel. Either worked fine. I used the PFM glass towel but I also have the CarPro glass towel, just don’t use it often (it’s too large for my liking).

I would not drink it :D

Runnin out of Stoner’s. Love that stuff. Hard to believe Clarify will be better but had to try. Got some with my Spring cleaning order.

Have had great results with Stoner’s with a Griots glass towel followed up with a Zep cloth. Makes it look like the glass not there.

Just can’t stick with what works
