Hello fellow OCD Detailers!

I wanted to share my review and install of my first ceramic coating Optimum Gloss Coat! I have been detailing for a long time, and have traditionally stayed with waxes and synthetics to give me the protection and shine I wanted but finally got a ceramic coating installed on my Audi R8. Really easy product to use and not much different at all compared to a traditional wax, and the massive improvement in durability is well worth the premium cost.

I did a water sheeting and beading test as well, incredible results!

Congrats, I am sure you will love your new coating! ;)

With that said, for maximum durability of the product, you should try to stay in the Optimum familly of products for the maintenance.

That means, Optimum No Rinse for washing, and other Optimum products for decontaminating. A detailer I know told me that Gloss coat is finicky
if you start using other products on it.
