Changing from Zanio to ??

I use all the Zaino products (ZAIO, Z2, Z6, Z8, ZCS, etc) and love the shine. I topped it with Swissvax Glacier (white cars only). Swissvax was ok, but this summer I tried WG Fuzion on top if the Zaino and the car looked great. You might want to try Fuzion. Next year I wouldn't mind trying the aforementioned products in this thread.

Epic thread full of great pictures of great subject matter and some really good info. I'm also a big Zaino fan. I keep thinking about changing to something else but then don't. I use MaxWax as a topper sometimes and like it, but some of those Souveran pictures make me wonder....may have to try it some day.

I'm not really a Vette fan,

Me neither! :D

but yours is GORGEOUS! :hungry:

Yes, OP, you do have a fine looking machine!!!
Nice work you and your son-in-law have done in "re-birthing".

Wolfgang, Pinnacle, and Blackfire are nice starting places ...

I too was a Zaino fanatic for the past 12 years or so...I have found that I love the Blackfire Wet Diamond Sealant topped with Pinnacle Signature Series II LSP...

After reading this, it struct me funny, I too was a Zaino fanatic for the past 12 years or so.., It is like this thread has turned into a Zaino Anonymous thread.

I am a Zonioolic, I use to sneak out to the garage and apply two or three coats a time sometime in just one month.

I apologize for my sense of humor.:o I really do appreciate all the comments.

:iagree: Zaino's Leather cleaner (Z-9)/conditioner (Z-10) are their best products by far. I haven't tried all the competitor's leather products but within the dozen or so I've tried I have yet to find one that even comes close.

I left Zaino years ago to go to Duragloss and have never looked back.

I use Leatherique and then top it with the Zaino conditioner LOL

This what I finally decided to do, starting the finishing process. 1000-2000- 3000 grit wet dry,-Menzerna Power Gloss, - Meguiars 105 -205, - Menzerna Polishing Compound, - Wolfgang paintwork Polish enhancer, - Wolfgang Deep paint Sealant, - Pinnacle Souveran wax.

So far only the nose has all steps done. Picture are not great in the garage with florescent lights.

I wish I lived closer, I would have offered mine, But there is something about doing it yourself.

Take my word for it... the people that bring their cars to Autogeek do-it-themselves... but they do get a little help...

If you look at any of the threads I write sharing our project cars you'll almost always see people brand new to machine polishing being taught how to machine polish correctly and this includes the owners...

It's the only way we do our project cars...

Keep us updated on your progress...

I have used Zaino for years. I have, in the past year tried several other LSPs and keep going back to Zaino. Now I am topping Zaino with either Dodo or Fuzion.
I am overjoyed with the results!
The longevity of Zaino os hard to beat and the shine on top with one of the hybrids is pretty amazing.

I bought some of the leather cleaner and conditioner in December before I started my AG spree. Haven't used it yet, but read that it's some of the only stuff that leaves the car smelling like new leather. I've been jealous of my wife's new car smell which is still going strong 6 months after she bought the car. Is it true, is it leather in a bottle?

The pictures just came up on my iPad and the car looks amazing!! :props:
