Right!I wonder how many hours of our lives us good taxpayers had to work to pay the bills to keep him alive all this time.

Couldn’t of happened to a better guy.
But it should have happened a long time ago.

I neither believe in it or not. Given that it's not a deterrent, it's really all about the penalty. So is it a fair penalty? No question there are people I think need to wiped off the face of the earth. Not sure we want our justice system meting that kind of punishment given that you know some will be wrong. One study shows that ~4% of death row could be proven innocent. I don't want that 4% on my head. How many people on here believe in the death penalty? Let us know.
We could. But then we wouldn't have the justice system we have. When you presume innocence and give people the benefit of the doubt, you have to live with the consequences. We also have guilty people going free because they have good defense lawyers. Sucks, but that's how it goes.Death penalty now! No 47 years, no appeals...do it, get it done!

I've been a foster parent and have spent too many unpleasant hours in family court. Want to talk about no justice? Ever seen an adorable 18 month old taken from your hands and handed back to an abuser? Not killing a piece of human crap like Manson is not the biggest or most prevalent problem we have. I'd like to fix the big issues we have first and then focus on the 0.01%.
