I understand what your saying, yes it's cheap, cheap for blowing leaves and trying to blow crap around the yard. I wouldn't buy it for that purpose. But for trying to blow 50-60% of water off my truck, it's a go.

Now if your a professional detailer and using this everyday maybe a better quality is called for.

I have a Echo backpack blower (for my yard) and I'm looking to downgrade to an electric for my truck bc is just over kill. A light weight plug and go is where it's at plus the arm is way too long. The one pictured is perfect, I'd chop that neck in half thou.
 
Its a Must have for doing motorcycles & the price has gone up I paid $20 .
Plus I have this damn tree outside my shop that sheds crap all year around sometimes I have tumbleweeds rolling thru & it helps combat that also.

I know someone using a gas powered hand held blower, OMG! what a PITA that thing is(talk about cheep he's like a 100 lbs Canary CHEEP!)

If your really concerned about hard water stains probably would take 2 people on a car, a 2 gallon $10 Harbor freight Pump sprayer filled with Distilled water. Cheapest most effective water filter out there like $.69 a gallon no muss no.

Buy Air Blower 8600BAngalore. Its so cheap and still can work perfectly. It has Dual function blowing and extracting. Powerful motor with variable speed control from 0 to 55. Just dropped 20 buck for this.
